Awesome blade
I started out with one of those $50 7" tile saws, but I decided to go with a bigger saw for a bigger remodel. So, I bought the "2.5 Horsepower 10 In. Industrial Tile/Brick Saw" from Harbor Freight, which was supposedly a great tile saw from all the glowing reviews. The problem was I also picked up Harbor Freight's tile blade. Their blade was terrible. It wouldn't cut. Instead the 2.5 horsepower pulled the tile underneath the saw, cracked it, and with sheer force the tile flew across the room, hit my dryer and brook the dryer's handle. I could have killed someone! It happened over and over again.
Being rather disappointed in my new tile saw that I spent hundreds on, I thought it was worth it to see if the blade was the problem. I picked this blade over the Dewalt considering all the reviews on Amazon, and I'm glad I did. This blade was night and day. It cut 18" Porcelain tile like butter. The edges were perfect with no chipping anywhere -- not even once out of over 100 cuts (each cut varying from 5 to 24 inches).
I'm remodeling three bathrooms from floor to ceiling with porcelain tiles, and after 2 bathrooms the blade has begun to dull. The cutting speed is a bit slower now, so I'm going to pick up another Black Widow blade for the last bathroom. I had no idea that cutting tile could be so easy.

Smoooooth cuts!!
Nothing makes a job go "smoother" than a nice new blade. This one works GREAT!! You can tell when it is time for a new blade when you start to see small chips on the surface as you are cutting your tile. If you are seeing BIG chips then you should have already replaced your blade. Be sure you are using the correct blade for the material you will be cutting. This blade is designed for porcelain, marble, granite and ceramic tile. If you will be cutting pavers, you will want a blade designed specifically for pavers. Also, make sure you get the correct diameter blade for your saw.
Changing your blade should be simple.
1 Unplug your saw
2 remove the safety shield
3 remove the large nut and washers holding the blade in place (be sure to check the direction of the threads. This may have left-handed threads)
4 Install the new blade making sure you have it on the proper way so the rotation is correct (if necessary)
5 re-install the nut and washers
6 re-install the safety shield
7 plug in your saw

A must have for porcelain tile
In a recent kitchen remodel I installed 18” x 18” porcelain tiles with stone trim. The average diamond blade leaves unsightly chips along the cut edge of porcelain but gives a clean cut on stone. I had bought this special blade specifically for the porcelain tile cuts and I am happy that I did. The cuts were the cleanest I have ever seen having only micro-chips along the edge, almost unnoticeable. I had prepared for this as well having bought an Archer #200 grit dry diamond polishing pad. Just a few passes with the pad at medium speed on my drill and the edge looked and felt like a factory finish. I highly recommend this blade for super clean cuts.

I have come to believe that in tile saw blades, you get what you pay for. Started this very large...
I have come to believe that in tile saw blades, you get what you pay for. Started this very large (850 sq ft) porcelain tile project with a new saw and a cheap blade that came with it. Lasted maybe 150 sq ft before it started cracking tiles and never really slid through the tile like I wanted. Then I got a very nice ~$70 blade and it was great. Got about another 450 sq ft before it got dull. Now I'm using this one. Immediately, it is not as slick as the more expensive blade in terms of feel, but I don't have much to go on this project and tried this one just to finish as well as for some value, as the price was quite good and the reviews good too. So far so good. Better to ask the question in a week or so - project is being done mostly on weekends at the lake house.

Great blade with no splintering
This is a really nice blade for the nicer pocelain tile. I had my normal diamond blade but it was causing a ton of chipping and splintering on the porcelain and also my glass tile blocks but when I switched over to this blade I got great cuts without the problems from the older blade. Now with that said it's possible the other blade was just a little older but I don't remember it cutting quite this nice even when new.

Black widow blade
Purchased this blade with a new tile saw for cutting 20 inch porcelain tiles. Was breaking every other tile I cut. Purchased a different blade, Rigid brand from Home Depot, and breakage rate when down to zero. Defective blade I do not know, but I wasted alot of tiles.

Not for dry cutting.
I have to admit I goofed getting this blade. I had wanted to use it with a radial arm saw. I ended up buying a wet tile saw in order to use it properly. With the proper saw, it works great. It is just a bit harder to cut some of the shapes I need with a standard tile saw.
