HDX Cambrian Slate Vinyl Universal Flooring offers the timeless look of stone with the affordability, convenience and durability of vinyl. It is manufactured from tough, specially formulated polyvinyl that is resistant to water, skidding, staining and scratching -- perfect for heavily-trafficked and spill-prone areas like kitchens and bathrooms. It helps prevent subfloor deterioration, hides cracks and stains, prevents staining on newer floors and creates a moisture barrier. This HDX flooring is comprised of 100% high-quality polyvinyl -- not layered with filler material that can crack, split, peel and deteriorate. Suitable for indoor and outdoor applications, just roll the product out onto your designated area and appoint with furnishings. Optionally, use an acrylic-based vinyl adhesive such as Roberts 2310 or 2315, or tape edges with an acrylic-based double-sided tape such as Roberts MaxGrip. HDX flooring can be trimmed to a perfect fit using a utility knife for customizable layouts, offering wall-to-wall protection or spot coverage depending on your needs. This product is 10 ft. wide and you order as many feet long as you need up to 44 ft. 1) The design is NOT 10ft wide. I needed it to be 10ft. It said it was 10ft, so I bought it. The design ends a few inches short on both sides and it's just white after that, making the real width closer to 9 ft 7 inches. Ridiculous.
2) It looks completely awful. Pictures are very deceptive. Did I expect it to look like real travertine? No, of course not, it's vinyl. But it has has a thick clear texture on top that is extremely reflective and you can see every bit of texture and it looks just absolutely terrible.
Bought it for a laundry room inside my garage. I'm going to toss this and paint the floor instead. It'll look much better.
At nearly $4/sq ft, this has terrible value.
