This is a nice set of string lights that can illuminate a rather large area. The bulbs give off a more yellow light than LEDs (see photo), but not so yellow it's dim. The cord is a little stiff coming out of the box, so you might want to unpackage it & straighten it out for a day or so before hanging. My only complaint about this set is that the bulbs are glass instead of plastic, making them far easier to break - not really ideal for outdoor applications. You definitely have to hang the cord and then go back and screw in the bulbs. I managed to break a bulb when just repositioning the cord after it was hung, so I'm a little nervous about how they will fair in high winds. I added this string to an existing 24 foot string made by a different company that uses plastic LED bulbs which have survived on my deck for over a year now. The quality of the cords seem about the same and they put off a similar amount of light, though with this set being more on the yellow end of the spectrum. Great set as long as long as you're ok with glass bulbs!

These string lights really made my outdoor paradise complete. The lights are bright and give a r...These string lights really made my outdoor paradise complete. The lights are bright and give a rustic look to the patio. It also added ambiance and more light to areas that were otherwise dark.
They are high quality, but very heavy. You should make sure you have something that can hold them. I used masonry clips to secure them to the concrete. It would be better if they had some thin cord with some length before it starts the light bulbs so you can plug it in and mount it where you want the lights. Some of the lights didn't work at first, but after some finesse, they lit right up.

Can't wait to hang these up. Cord quality feels very high-end and for sure waterproof. Each bulb socket has a gasket that keeps the water out and even the end cap has a quality gasket to keep the water away. One CON is the incandescent bulbs, wish these were LEDs but the price reflects that and I'm all about a deal. This brand does offer LEDs strands.

The bulbs are interesting looking and give the appearance of an older type bulb. I do not think I have every used a set of lights that seamed to be more heavy duty than these. The wire is thicker than most outdoor extension cords that I have used. There is a female connector on the end allowing you to connect more than one string together.
The string only houses 8 bulbs. 10 bulbs are included so that you have 2 extra when needed.
Overall this set is heavy duty and looks amazing, but I think there should have been more bulbs on the 25' length.

They are very sturdy, made with a rubberized material that is strong and appears to be waterproof. The cord is thick and substantial. I like that you can add additional strands of lights, but it has a tight fitting closure to protect the end if you don't attach more. THe best part is that the light bulbs are also included. No need to buy them separately. The glow is a nice bright without being harsh. Just a good ambient light. They look of a good quality, well made, and should last a few seasons for sure.

I just love these lights. I think that they add so much character and warmth to any outdoor gath...I just love these lights. I think that they add so much character and warmth to any outdoor gathering area. We have multiple strings outside over our deck to help create the feel of a space - without an actual overhead structure. Although, if you have an overhead structure, you could also drape these between the beams. I think that they are versatile enough to be used in multiple installations if you are simply looking for character and a more dynamic environment.

It looks good on the rafters of my outdoor man cave. It's a grape vine covered arbor out back. The sockets I have to watch and will do that. I'm not sure at how well they're going to take the temperature and moisture changes. I'll watch to see if they corrode. I bought an additional 2 strings to allow me to go along the perimeter to keep the lighting behind the seating area. It looks good.
