Made up of a mixture of oils and polymers, Vinyl ScratchAway is designed to soak into the scratch and reduce its most visible appearance; however not eliminating the scratch.

I was pleasantly surprised with how this concealing dauber worked. I used it on my laminate floors (the kind that look similar to hardwood) and it did a good job of hiding the scratches. I tried three different spots and the areas with just light scratches were hidden well, deeper scratches were harder to notice, and areas of discoloration (from water) diminished slightly. I used a clean paper towel to buff the solution out after applying it.

I was excited to try this product because we have some small but noticeable scratches in our 3 ye...I was excited to try this product because we have some small but noticeable scratches in our 3 year old luxury vinyl plank flooring in the busy kitchen area. Unfortunately, I really could not tell a difference at all before and after application of the product, even after using 2 or 3 coats. It's a good concept and maybe it works on certain vinyl floors, but it didn't work for us.

This product doesn't really conceal scratches. What it probably will do, however, is conceal mino...This product doesn't really conceal scratches. What it probably will do, however, is conceal minor scuffs and abrasions. All of the scratches and abrasions that led me to this purchase are still visible in the light glare. I have lighter floors, which is the best protection against visibility. Make sure your problem is very minor, or don't buy this product.

Reading the previous reviews, I was skeptical about this product, but for me it worked even bette...Reading the previous reviews, I was skeptical about this product, but for me it worked even better than the company promises, and the proof plainly shows in the pictures I submitted. I have an expensive leather-look laminate top coffee table with real walnut wood sides. It has serious scratches on the top, and I was desperate for help. I tried to follow directions carefully, so I shook the bottle very well. When I opened and put some of the solution in my palm, I noticed some white spots in the liquid, so I returned it to the bottle, and shook it til the spots disappeared. I put the solution on part of the scratch and noticed it disappeared while wet, then came back more and more as I polished. I then applied the solution and allowed it to dry before a light buffing. As the pictures below show, the scratches do not fully go away, but there is a HUGE difference to my table between the first to the last application and light buffing. BTW the tiny white specs in the last pic are lint from my buffing rag, not the white specs from the solution which dissolved after shaking the bottle well.

I tried this product on a scratch in the dash of my car's interior. I wasn't expecting a miracle ...I tried this product on a scratch in the dash of my car's interior. I wasn't expecting a miracle - just an improvement. Instead, the glossiness of the formula made it much more noticeable. I followed the directions and buffed it repeatedly but you can still see a sheen where the product was applied. It made no visible difference at all. Note, this is a dauber-style applicator. I layered applications, let it dry and then buffed. There was absolutely no positive changes. The shape of the bottle made it difficult to reach the length of the scratch to the windshield. I don't agree with other reviews that say the label is misleading - it's not a repair - and for me it was not a concealer either. The picture shows the scratch after 4 treatments. No visible improvement.

I am always looking for a product to improve the look of scratched surfaces - you know, those tha...I am always looking for a product to improve the look of scratched surfaces - you know, those that magically appear from nowhere!
I read the description of this product and thought I would give it a try.
First off, I like their honesty - will reduce the appearance, but not eliminate the scratch.
Second, I like the small convenient size
Third, it seems pretty easy to apply.
Does it work? The quick answer is yes. It reduces the appearance of the scratch. How much? Depends on your definition of reduce. I think it does a good job making surfaces look better. Can I still see the scratch? Sure. But they don't claim to remove the scratch and since it makes things look better, I'd have to say they did what they claimed.
Application? Easy, I just dabbed some on and wiped with a microfiber cloth. I didn't have to use much elbow grease and it did improve the look. I did try a second coat to see if it would further improve the look and I don't think it does. The first treatment did everything the product could do.
Am I pleased? Yes. Because it did what they claim. Nowhere does it say it's a magical scratch eraser. It does what they claim it to do and it did help the appearance, so I give it five stars overall.

I have to say i Was really skeptical about this product, with all the negative reviews online but...I have to say i Was really skeptical about this product, with all the negative reviews online but I was pleasantly surprised that it worked really well on my vinyl flooring. I had a bunch of surface scratches from my dining table and chairs and this product seemed to cover them up pretty well. However you know what they say about being your own worst critic, just knowing where the scratches are, I can still find them, but anyone else they are pretty much invisible. All in all its a good product and it could save your bacon if your a renter and you made a booboo.
