Diamond blade is much better than silicon carbon blade
The diamond blade cut right through and stayed the same size as opposed to a silicon blade that disintegrated and became smaller as you used them. I used the blade dry in a Dewalt 4 1/2" angle grinder but it also fit another brand grinder. The blade was easy to use and control in the angle grinder with fairly precise cutting. The blade easily cut through brick and concrete block. It also cut through stone and cured poured concrete leaving a nice clean edge. It will also cut tile but since tile is thin you have to go slow and you may have some that crack in the wrong place. The blade worked well in cutting all the items it was designed to cut and is affordable at a homeowners price point

REMARKABLE --- The Whirlwind 4.5 in. Double Row Diamond Grinding Cup Wheel for Concrete and Mortar did a remarkable job of leveling 3/8" off of a 3" x 6" section of concrete grout. This grout is much harder than regular concrete. Even after this use, the wheel appears to have a long, useful life ahead of it. The speed at which it removed material exceeded my expectations. Because the grinding wheel extends beyond the guard on most grinders, the grinding makes considerable dust. Since the wheel also works on wet material, keeping the surface wet helps reduce the spread of the dust.
The rating was downgraded because the product lacked safety or operating instructions or manufacturer identification. The latter could be important if the manufacturer needed to be contacted

Dynamic Blade
For the money, this blade is well worth it. It cuts well, and doesn't produce any more or less dust than higher dollar or cheaper blades. I used it to cut block, brick and poured concrete and it seemed to cut all equally well. When used with a second person spraying water, the dust is almost completely contained or eliminated. All in all this is a great blade and fits and grinder with a 5/8" arbor.

Diamond Blades Are The Best!
Several months ago I installed some concrete edging blocks. I had to cut the end of one block and I tried with a fiber blade which did nothing but make a mess. I took this blade and I decided to try and cut another block. While cutting I had someone spray water on the blade with a 2 gallons sprayer as I cut. The cut is beautiful! The edging is finally finished and my wife is very happy.
Read the instructions and keep the blade under 15,000 rpm. Luckily I have a variable speed grinder which I can adjust to below 15,000 rpm. I found 10,000 rpm to be a very good concrete cutting speed!
Overall this is an very good blade! It is a lower cost blade so don't expect it to hold up like a $400.00 blade.
