Diamond cutting across bordersI am in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada with a Metabo 6 inch grinder. I needed to cut away about 4 inches deep of bedrock (granite) 2 feet by 1 foot to lay a step to the lake at my cottage. The ONLY 6 inch diamond cutting wheel I could find here was $100CAD!!!! AT $16 US this was a deal. Had 2 delivered to a HD near my sister in Florida and picked it up there. Wish I could get these in Canada!!! Why don't HD.com and HD.ca cooperate?
One did the job easily. I scored on a grid and chipped out with a carbide chisel. Now I need another carbide chisel. Ouch again!!!
