Do not use this saw for cutting glass tiles as the speed is too fast. With a QEP glass-rated blade (8730 RPM) on 8mm thick glass mosaic tiles I was getting nice clean cuts on a tabletop wet tile saw at 3450 RPM. I purchased this saw for the benefit of a sliding table and plunge cut capability. This saw runs at 6500 RPM and the glass is melting, forming slag in the kerf and causing the saw to rise out of the cut. Blade vertical and horizontal alignments were precisely done and rechecked with Starrett machinist's squares and the blade direction of rotation is correct. The blade is in excellent condition. I called Ridgid and they agreed that the speed is too high for glass and recommended the much more expensive 10" saw with a speed of 4000 RPM. A contributing factor may be that this saw does not put as much water at the point of cut as did the tabletop saw where the blade rode in a sump of water.
Otherwise, this seems to be a fine product but not for my project.

What's Nice:
Easy to assemble
Blade aligned with table, as expected.
Cuts nicely, once water nozzles are adjusted to put water on the cutting position.
Easy to lift saw assembly out of tray for cleaning.
What's not so Nice:
Laser was not aligned. Easy enough to do, but disappointing to have to do it.
Water would bounce off of blade and hit about 2 inches away from where cutting. I ended up playing with and trimming the water nozzles to get the water to flow near to the cutting portion of the blade.
It looks, to me, like the drain was designed before the stand was a thought. There's no place to put a bucket and if you try to open for more than a trickle, it ends up hitting the stand leg and running down it. Very poorly placed in my opinion.
Plunge cutting is very difficult to coordinate, especially with large tile that needs to be held onto table. That leaves one hand to power on, and then lift blade out of the way. Then try positioning tile correctly. The head should have a spring that keeps it up in my opinion, but I guess that's too expensive.

This saw is powerful and can save time on production cuts. I have not used the laser beam, I instead use a flat metal square to align tiles for cutting. On the downside, there are some cuts to large tiles you can't do very well on this saw. I needed to make bevel cuts to the edges of a 20" x 20" tile, couldn't make it work on this saw because it won't fit through between the saw head and its mounting arm. I ended up doing that cut on my little Ryobi table top wet saw. Also if you want to cut off say 1" of a 12" x 24" tile along the 12" side, the tile will have to hang off the table to the right since it won't fit through the throat on the left. Again that cut works fine on my little Ryobi table top saw. BUT this saw is fast and accurate for most other cuts. It is LOUD though, I took to wearing ear protection when I run it. Also it drips water all over the place so put a tarp down around it.

I was struggling with my little tile table saw to cut these 2" thick pavers or alternately, rent one and feel the pressure to get the job done over the weekend - so instead, I decided to purchase this saw. This saw did a great job cutting my patio pavers efficiently and quickly for an outdoor project. I do need to adjust the laser guide as it does veer off about 3/32nd to the right over a 8" cut but I just compensated during cuts so no problem. My only concern now is I need to cut some concrete retaining wall block so I guess this weekend we will see how the "plunge cut works since max dept of cut is 2.25 in. and block is 3' thick. A couple times, noticed that nozzle would plug up so I removed the tubing from pump and blew air to remove the accumulation easily. Overall, a great saw for the $$. I will post a second review when cutting the 3" thick retainer block next week.

Had 300sq.ft. of 12”x24” thick porcelain tile to lay down; decided to finally buy a saw vs rent or borrow again. Wanted something capable, but somewhat compact. Settled on this saw due to features vs price, and the warranty. It did a great job overall, but I also realize it’s not a 10” pro/industrial model. I could see the arm flex a tad under pressure; but then again, I was cutting large, hard porcelain. The water system made a mess of my garage floor; not a big deal, but it was messier than expected. The laser was very helpful and accurate, but I did take a few minutes to tweak it. All-in-all, a great saw for this price range.

awesome saw if you know its limits
For people that are not tile setters I'm giving u heads up that this saw will cut and fit perfectly the tile on top of the tray if its not bigger than 21 inch.... Once you pass the 21 inch length and the rear wheels come off from the track that's it, it will be wobbly....
I personally have another bigger saw for bigger tile and this one I use only for backsplashes, but it will cut dead on accurate up to 21 inch!!!
The catch to the saw cutting perfect is to align it, this one does not come dead on accurate like the more expensive ones. Once u align it its dead on precise and easy to work with. Also you need to tighten the wheels a little bit in order not to have the tray wobbling left and right.
Once u set up the saw is good to go for tiles not bigger than 21 inch, yes you can probably fit 225 inch tile but wont be good for accurate cutting, remember this any tile smaller then 21 inch this saw is a great buy!!! For me is a big plus because anyways ill use it for small tiles anyways.

I had a little Ridgid tabletop tile saw for years. Didn't see a lot of use over time, but it was handy...until I tried cutting 12 inch tile. It just soaked me and would bind on the little splash guard fin that sticks up from the table.
I picked this up today and found it easy to assemble. It is very light weight and does a decent job. My only gripe is the annoyingly loud motor and the speed which it spins the blade. Professional tile saws are much quieter...but they're $800 plus. For under $300, if you're going to do a few floors every now and then on your rental properties like I do, this is definitely worth it.
With a little care, it should last a while. Paid for itself already in the amount I would have saved by hiring the job out.
