This thing works! Seemed the Strongest!We rented an electric rotary hammer to remove old ceramic tile. That removed most of the mortar but we purchased this Tile Scraper to remove the last bits and make a smooth prepared surface for new tile flooring.
In the store I looked over all the different ones and this one seemed strongest ( I applied forward weight on the blades of the other ones) This one didn't bend and seemed tough.
So that's the one I chose. It also has the foot rest you can add extra Push with it.
It worked great and got the stuff off the floor. It is a bit heavy though.. but you need a bit of weight behind your movements to get that Evil mortar off the floor.
I can recommend this product.

Heavy DutyThe handle of this scraper is made of steel pipe which gives it enough mass to make a solid punch into whatever you are trying to get up. The blade seems like it does not have any flex at all. I am using it to get up glued down engineered hardwood and was using a hammer and pry bar. Some pieces took several minutes to get up with a lot of effort. This gets up the majority of the pieces in less than a minute, usually with only two or three hits. I use it with the bolt side down to get underneath the plank, then flip it over for a better angle to pry up the plank. The only reason I gave if 4 stars is because the weld on the foot peg is not very good and the bolts for the blade should have lock washers to keep them from working loose. Overall: Very Solid. Steel pipe handle, cast iron head and 1/8 inch steel blade. Incredible price for what you get. Ordered it from HD online and it was at my house the next day.

awesome home restoration toolI prefer the heavier weight of this scraper so i won't push as hard to get as much accomplished. The color makes it more visible in harder to see environments. The blade is durable, long lasting, reliable, and can be changed quite easily. I love the foot support which helps me perform my job with better ergonomics and less effort, increases my efficiency. My recommendations are that these blades come with a shield attached onto the pole for better transportation (like going up stairs or hauling to job sites, not because the blade dulls easily, it doesn't!! but so as to protect myself and the other equipment). I would like to see someone add more ergonomic hand grips like being slightly turned, making them longer for larger people, and it would be nice to see some sort of cushioning that is durable on the grips as well.
