The powerful 12 Amp, 1.2 HP motor easily moves through natural and manmade tile and pavers while the oversized cut capacity is capable of cutting through 4 in. wall blocks in just two passes. The die-cast aluminum table with co-molded rubber support provides solid support and the dual bearing rollers improve table stability at your worksite. Pretty good tile saw, except...This tile saw is rated to be able to rip 24" long tile. While the distance from the backstop of the sliding table to the front edge of the blade is indeed more than 24", the table itself is only 13.5", leaving at least ten inches of tile hanging out in space when you make a rip cut. This is fine for ripping a square tile since there is alot of material to support that overhang. Unfortunately, ripping a very expensive 24" bullnose which is barely 4" wide to begin with seems no small risk of snapping the tile in half. I thought I'd use a piece of Hardibacker underneath the tile for support, but the backstop is only about 3/8" high so that the back edge of the bullnose piece will not be against the backstop. There should have been a removable piece of the backstop about five inches wide so that one could begin the cut with the skinny tile hanging out the back but against the angle stop until the cut is half made, then reinstall (with two Allen screws) the backstop and complete the cut that way.

I am a remodeling contractor just starting and after renting and borrowing tile saws decided to b...I am a remodeling contractor just starting and after renting and borrowing tile saws decided to buy this rigid and let me tell its better then the ones ive rented and borrowed, great straight cuts even on 24” lenths awesome thin rips without chipping the edges.

Good saw, but know it's limitationsI saw another review that will look very much like this one. Overall, this a good tile saw for the money. There are a lot of well thought-out features and it has held up pretty well in the 6 months that I have owned it. The only problem so far has been with the table length when cutting 24" long tiles. There is a lot of tile left hanging out over space during the cut. The saw blade wants to push this overhang down and more than one tile has been snapped because of it. I finally came up with a solution to brace the tile in this situation, but it sure slows me down. Another professional might think twice before getting this saw and if I were doing tile full time, I would also. However, it is a great saw for a DIYer or a professional who is only laying tile now and then. And it it is a nice improvement from the model that Rigid had before. At the end of the day, I still recommend this saw.

Everything on this saw works great except for the fact that it does not supply enough water to th...Everything on this saw works great except for the fact that it does not supply enough water to the blade. My cuts come out chipped without supplying additional water to the blade while cutting. I like the saw but I am currently looking for an aftermarket water supply add-on that I can use to make nicer cuts. The unit does not have a secondary constant water supply connection like my old Ridgid tile saw. I could hook up a garden hose to it and have a continuous supply of fresh water. I have had this saw for only a week and it cuts perfectly straight. The tray at the back of the unit that catches spray water while cutting is perfect.

The saw does a cut error of approx 1/8 in. at 2 ft long tile. This is a third job, but problems s...The saw does a cut error of approx 1/8 in. at 2 ft long tile. This is a third job, but problems started after the first bath tiles installation job. Is almost new machine.
The blade is made of very thin steel , cuts in it make it flex causing vibration and a rough cut. The motor axle has not a normal movement up-down.
Hard to finish a job in a perfect professional way after investing $500 in RIDGED Tool.
Hard to finish a square corner on walls or floor. Lots of gaps not having straight not angled cut. Waste a lot of tiles and time with this tool.
I did better jobs in the past with using cheap tools not expensive brand . I should return it after first day of use.
If will be possible I will add later some pictures to show how this tile saw cuts tiles with chipped and not straight cut line.

Great product; I like it. Came mostly assembled with only the water pump to put together. Cuts s...Great product; I like it. Came mostly assembled with only the water pump to put together. Cuts smooth, runs smooth. I particularly like the miter feature, that makes cutting angled tile, e.g. for a sloped ceiling a snap. There are a couple of downsides that I would like to see improved: First, it is somewhat noisy so hearing protection is desirable. Second, the water trough is not affixed to the stand so moving the machine is clumsy.

Great saw. Makes very long cuts (I cut 24" tiles). The moving cutting platform is smooth. Easy...Great saw. Makes very long cuts (I cut 24" tiles). The moving cutting platform is smooth. Easy to make plunge cuts. The laser guide is nice. The water tray behind the saw is a great idea as it keeps the water basin from running low. When the saw is cutting, water does not spray all over your clothing.
