Alaska Gray Ledger Panel 4.5 in. x 16 in. Wall Tile is a Natural Stone Marble with a blend of contemporary gray tones. The tile features random strips of stacked stone glued together for ease of installation. Each piece has an S-shaped end that helps interlock the pieces and enhance the random look. This tile can easily be laid in a pattern or single layout and is suitable for residential and commercial installations. Note: Inspect all tiles before installation. Natural stone products inherently lack uniformity and are subject to variation in color, shade, finish, etc. It is recommended to blend tiles from different boxes when installing. Natural stones may be characterized by dry seams and pits that are often filled. The filling can work its way out and it may be necessary to refill these voids as part of a normal maintenance procedure. All natural stone products should be sealed with a penetrating sealer.

The tile itself is beautiful - there's actually a little glittery shimmer in there that was a fun...
The tile itself is beautiful - there's actually a little glittery shimmer in there that was a fun surprise - but there were SO many broken panels. I think it's standard to account for a 10-20% loss, but we had just over 40% loss - out of 100 panels total, we had to completely discard 43 of them. That include 2 additional boxes we bought to cover the loss from the original purchase. Home Depot also does not stand by this product, as it is not their brand and it is an online order (not something they carry in store and so cannot be easily replaced by them). I asked about alternative shipping methods for the additional boxes we would have to order - perhaps something more intentional or with insurance - and they don't have alternative methods. You just have to order more and see what happens!
