I'm really not happy with this flooring, and it basically come down to the fact that grip strips are not sticky enough.
My Dad and I have previously installed 4 vinyl plank floors using Traffic Master grip strip flooring, and we didn't have any problems with them. They were all wood look planks and still look as good as the day they went in, tight seems and no bowing. But this tile/stone look stuff is just not the same product. The grip strips aren't nearly as sticky, so now that my floor has been down for about a month almost all the seems are starting to pull apart. Also, when we installed it, the ends were kind of curled down, so there was lots of minor bowing on the joints that we couldn't even get out with a laminate roller.
The only reason this even gets to stars is because it was still fairly easy to install and it looks nice (other than the seams that are pulling apart).

Excellent Value, Very Simple to Install, Great DIY Project
We used this flooring product product in our master bathroom and we're really happy with it.
I have installed high pressure laminate and porcelain tile flooring before and this resilient floating vinyl product was definitely easier than those. It only takes a utility knife to cut planks right on the spot. (Get a lot of replacement blades!) Each plank has two layers that overlap an inch or so and there's slightly tacky adhesive on the overlap edge. Sticky side up meets sticky side down and they form a very strong bond. This travertine design looks really good in our master bathroom. In a few years we will completely remodel this bathroom and this flooring will tide us over until then.
I used a 6 mil plastic sheet over the concrete slab.
There are some great YouTube videos of this product being installed.
One annoyance I have is that as a floating floor, there's a bit of a tappity-tap under foot as the bottom of the floor touches the slab. If that would bother you, then you'll want to go for a true tile floor.

So Far So Good
My husband & his brothers installed our Allure floor in our kitchen. It took about 4 hrs total. It has been in for 3 weeks and so far, we are very happy. It was very easy to install, once you get the hang of it. We did not have any problems getting things to line up. The directions are on the box, there are no paper directions inside. We have not had any seams popping or gapping as I have heard can happen. We are looking to get 5-7 years of use of the floor until we renovate our kitchen and the Allure rated for much longer. We wanted the floating type floor because it will be easier to remove in the future. We laid it out over luan subfloor that was under a layer of sick linoleum (see photo). The floor coordinates with our stainless and oak cabinets very well. I am very happy with the way it looks and feels. I hope we do not have any future problems with the seams, that is my only reservation for 4/5 stars. I will likely update review after a year or so and let you know how it has held up :)

It's all good/keep project area very clean.
This flooring looks good. I like it better than the other patterns that include grout lines. It seamed together perfectly at a door with another wood look plank in the Traffic Master Allure. We just kept the paper (to protect the stickyness from dust) on the sticky side (sticky tab up!)of the first (wood look plank) at the bathroom door. Finished the big room first. Went back to the bathroom and started at the door with the first pieces of this travertine pattern. Went back from there. There is almost no waste in this flooring. Depending on your pattern choice sometimes whatever scrap is left over from the last run is used to start the next run. We did about a 1/3rd offset on this job. Looks great and I know it will last years just as our other projects have for many of our clients. We look forward to using this product again soon.

Excellent floor for a Do-It-Yourselfer
The flooring is very high quality in construction and application. I am very pleased as it met the high expectations I had. I can not attest to the durability yet as it is just laid. Cleaning instructions are kind of harsh. Heck, acording to them it is probably best to never walk on it if you expect to use the 25 year warranty. But, the material and assembly are first rate. I installed it over a 1/4" underlayment after making repairs to the structural floor over a crawl space. I also like the feel of walking on the flooring; very soft and solid feeling to walk on. I used large metal working shears to cut the flooring rather then score and snap and it seemed to work very well for me though it may take a few days for my hand to recover. The store took back unopened boxes of flooring that were left over. Overall, I am very pleased with the appearance and the ease of installation and the quality of the manufactured material.

Good Product, Bad instructions.
Although the installation of the planks is fairly easy to do by anyone, Here is what the manufacturer is NOT telling you. First, forget the utility knife method of cutting. It will take you forever. I used a multi-tool to score and break the planks or a mitre saw. Even "The Rock" could not " just score and break" per the manufacturer. Second, THERE WILL BE SMALL LINES/CRACKS BETWEEN PLANKS! I tried locking them in place on the floor, locking them on a table then putting on the floor, using a rubber mallet, but in 50% of the planks connections there are small noticeable separations. Last, try locking the planks together at the angle when you come to the doorway. You cannot get the lock in angle without taking apart the door jamb. NO INSTRUCTIONS on how to put the last piece in from manufacturer so I called and they told me that i should alter the product (shave off) and use SUPER GLUE. Not in my bathroom with all the foot traffic, water, etc.
Good product, Bad instructions and support from the manufacturer.

The box states "easiest floor ever" and that is a lie.
I had high expectations for this flooring but was very disappointed. Upon unboxing it looked great and felt like a good quality product. The surface really looked and felt like real tile. Once I started to lay this product I immediately realized that I regretted my purchase but I continued to be optimistic. The biggest issue was the seams. These tiles only fit together one way which creates a ton of waste. If you only need a six inch section the other 1.5 feet is a total waste. I had bought enough for my 130 sq ft bathroom to have some extra for forgiveness and once I started the project I barely had enough to cover half of my bathroom. Also the instructions state that the planks are easily cut and scored with a utility knife which is not true. I had a horrible time trying to cut with a brand new utility knife and also snips.
So after spending $200+ and over 5 hours I hate my floor and have to tear up the floor and start from scratch with a different product. I was unable to finish my project due to the seams.

Easy laying floor
I did my whole house with this product, (Different color and format) 8 years ago. The floor wears like iron, very tough!
This light gray travertine is a beautiful color laid down. I liked the 12" X24" format for the install. Have a heat gun handy and you can customize your cuts and do clean curves if needed. Cuts real good with big tin snips.
This product is great for covering up a bad floor or asbestos product that needs to be contained. It bridges over small defects and hides a multitude of sins. Very good in moist areas like bathrooms and kitchens. It's not good for none climate controlled areas like garages or RV's. If you possibly can do not place heavy objects like bookcases. It can cause the floating floor to begin to separate at the joints. The manufacturer recommends going around if possible. Save some flooring pieces for later when you move or ? and fill in the spot.
Read the directions. It will save you time and tell you how to do a good job.
Good luck!
