Not a cheap floor
For the price, this product is competing against many other types of flooring. Yet, for our purposes, I don't think we could have done better.
We already installed the regular Allure in a couple rooms and are happy with it, but wanted something different for the kitchen. The Allure Ultra went over the existing vinyl easily, looks great, and feels good to walk on. It does take a little practice to correctly click together the tiles, especially within the first few rows. I found using a small scrap piece of tile to allow tapping each tile in place worked well to eliminate any seam gaps. Take your time to get those first few rows just right and the rest should go easily.
I also found cutting the tiles along the outer edge with an oscillating tool was much easier than using a razor blade. A file cleaned up the edges real nice.
Product was well packaged and shipped without incident.

Duplicate Patterns
I like this tile in every way except for the duplicate patterns. The tile is meant to resemble marble, which has naturally different patterns with every tile. This is not the case for the Ultra Carrara White. Out of three boxes, four tiles had the same pattern, and there were other patterns that were repeated 2-3 times. In one box, there were two identical tiles next to each other. Some of the duplicated patterns are offset, and some are turned 180 degrees, but still identical. This alone knocked my rating down from 5 to 3.
Otherwise, the tiles are thick, and seem of high quality. Much better than sheet linoleum. They are easy to cut by scoring with a razor knife and snapping. For intricate curve cuts, I used aviation tin snips. The tiles are not as easy to install as wood click floating flooring because the vinyl is not as ridged, so a little bit of flex makes it difficult to click it in place. But still much better than a large sheet of linoleum.

Looks great, but it's not easy!
My husband & I (average do-it-yourselfers) recently put this flooring in our kitchen, side entrance & basement stairs. The project turned out great, but thank goodness my brother (an expert do-it-yourselfer) had agreed to help us! It was MUCH harder to snap together than the descriptions and videos show. We assumed there would be a "learning curve" and we would get the hang of it as we went along, but, honestly, it never really got any easier, and we struggled with every single tile!
If you plan to install this, be sure you have a TON of patience and at least twice as much time as you think it should take. Another good tip: once you get going, and you are committed to finishing the floor, open most of the boxes and "sort" the tiles of similar patterns into piles. You will find repeats in every box, but there are variations between the boxes, so by sorting them, you can mix the patterns on your floor a little easier.
We have had the floor down for about a month, and I do love the finished product, however, I would only recommend this to a highly skilled do-it-yourselfer.

don't attempt if you are a handyman
I have been a carpenter for 35 years, and this was by far the most difficult floor i have ever laid. The two side lift and snap interlock system is not for trying to get underneath cabinets or around doorways. I made a couple of homemade tools to help me after the first row went down, so I ended up in not too bad of shape, but DO NOT attempt this if you are a homeowner who does week-end projects. Luckily for me, I was installing in my own kitchen, or I would have under-bid this job by a substantial margin. There were quite a few extra hours needed than installing any other floor I have ever done. Hire a pro to do the job for you, but don't call me, I will do no more of these floors except at an inflated price to cover the pure frustration of putting these down. Now, that being said, the finished product is outstanding!!!! Put a couple coats of Single Step on the finished floor, and you will stand there and marvel how beautiful it came out. Just let someone else do it! Strong, sturdy good looking floor.

Go with the planks instead!
I did read some of the reviews before purchasing this product, but should have read more of them. I have installed floating and engineered wood floors before, so I though this would be a snap - WRONG! I purchased the Allure Ultra Carrara White Resilient Tile for my bathroom. This tile lays differently from the plank (wood looking) tiles in which the video shows that after you join the long side pieces, you tap the short ends with a mallet to connect (left side piece overhangs right piece and it taps into place). This does not work with this model. You have to go in at an angle, then push down to make a tight seem. Problem is, you have to do that on the long and the short side, which is impossible. Basically, after messing around way to long, I got it by completing a row by connecting the short sides, then lifting and angling the entire row to connect to the previous row. This was a little difficult in part of room that the row was 10 feet long.

Rugged, nice-looking floor
The Flooring Specialist at Home Depot got my attention when she beat on the floor sample with a closed razor-knife. She tried hard to scratch and gouge it, but there wasn't a mark on the flooring.
OK, tell me more...
This stuff isn't cheap, but my wife & I were able to install it ourselves, so we saved on the labor. Note: unless you have a square room with few cutouts, this will take some patience, and some talent - and tools. Our installation went from the kitchen into the dinette, down a hallway-like pantry and into the laundry room. Add to that the angular peninsula (25°), and it took some time to make it work.
Straight cuts can be made with a sharp razor-knife (have plenty of extra blades) and a metal straight-edge: score and snap. It's tough stuff, so I used a pair of sheet-metal type Vise-Grips to hold short pieces that needed to be snapped off.
Cutouts for air vents and around door jams & casings can be made with a jigsaw - again, have extra blades, this stuff eats them up.
But these tiles lock together nicely. We alternated them in a brick-like pattern which helps keep the rows straight, and provides a nice look. It also has a nice feel under foot.

Worked as expected
I am fully satisfied with this product and would not hesitate to purchase again.
Only thing I would do different is layout the tiles before installing to get a better coloration pattern. With the marble appearance there were tiles with more dark coloration and tiles that were lighter. Mine came out with some areas dark and some areas light and didn't notice until all the tiles were cut and in. I would prefer a more general appearance. Minor problem of my doing.
