Capturing the artisanal look of cement tile, the Merola Tile Berkeley Charcoal Brown 17-5/8 in. x 17-5/8 in. Ceramic Floor and Wall Tile offers an encaustic, old-world design that can blend into any décor. Save time and labor spent arranging smaller square tiles and instead install these durable ceramic slabs, which have four 8-3/4 in. squares with scored grout lines. With a recognizable European-inspired design, the simplistic arcs frame the snowflake inspired patterns that create continuity throughout the installation. Set on an eggshell base glaze, the taupe charcoal designs offer the ability to be used in modern and rustic settings. The scored grout lines can be grouted with the color of your choice, or left ungrouted for a rugged finish. Use this tile in most interior settings, including kitchens, showers, backsplashes and entryways.

Great tile!
I bought this tile for entryway/mud room and laundry room. Love it. Tile arrived in timely fashion in perfect condition. Very well packed. Colour is exactly as named, "charcoal brown". I used a dark grout.

Beautiful pattern. The tile is quite large though and the...Beautiful pattern. The tile is quite large though and the pattern of 4 tiles is scored on the front. The large tile makes some installations a bit more difficult but the tile when installed looks beautiful!

Color of tile is dark brownish and off whiteI previously called it black and white tile but I meant that loosely to describe the contrast. The tile is not black and white. It's more dark brown and cream (off white). Goes well with white grout.
Still loving this tile almost a year later!!!

We wanted a cement encaustic tile but didn’t want to...We wanted a cement encaustic tile but didn’t want to pay $20/ft. I think this tile can turn gray or brownish depending on the colors around it. With a natural gray grout it was a perfect choice for our laundry room.
