Treads tear with traffic
These soft rubber treads do not stand up with traffic. The front section of every tread tears along the edge of the step. Buy something that is hard rubber.

Rubber treads
Not good for indoor because not comfortable to walk on without shoes. They slide on wood stairs, so must be attached.
