This stunning face mounted mosaic of the Breeze Caribbean Ocean 12-3/4 in. x 12-3/4 in. x 6 mm Glass Tile is created to look like stained glass. With a mixture of colors, this tile will give a luminescent quality to any bathroom, kitchen or pool installation. Add a crisp pop to any room with these beautiful tiles that are versatile. Due to the nature of glass, a slight amount of variation in color and size can occur from lot to lot.

These are beautiful tiles but impossible to apply. They go up fine until you try to get the plastic film off, then forget it. My contractor had to work in sections several days in a row to get the tile grouted, and that was with replacing individual tiles by hand - a lot of tiles! There should be a better system than film that takes the tiles with it.

The tiles are very pretty, but the clear adhesive on...
The tiles are very pretty, but the clear adhesive on them caused a real problem. The applied adhesive can not dry with the clear sheet on the tiles. I waited over the max of 72 hours. I then peeled back the clear sheets one row at a time and still not dry after waiting over 24 hours each try. No air can get through for the applied tile adhesive to dry. After over a week, I had to just carefully peel it off and many tiles came off with the clear sheets. It took many hours to then reapply the tile adhesive tile by tile and put them back on. They need the netted type of backing instead, so air can get through for the applied adhesive to dry. All and all it took nearly two weeks before I could apply grout and finish. What a waste of my time. I have tiled many times and never had this issue prior. A real disappointment.

As has been pointed out in other reviews, rather...
As has been pointed out in other reviews, rather than manufacturing the tiles by attaching them to a mesh on the backside, these tiles have a plastic tape film on the front side. This is a royal pain to work with and I will never buy this kind of tile again if I can help it. The film will pull some tiles off the wall no matter how long you let the mastic cure because it's impossible to get the exact right amount of mastic beneath every last individual tile. With the mesh back it's not a problem because there's enough mastic to hold the tile in place, especially once the grout is applied. Having to reattach individual or sometimes small groups of tiles is a royal pain and adds a lot of time and labor to the job. Also, the tape does not come off in one sheet, so it takes a LOT of time and patience to get every little strip of the tape off the tiles.

Worst tile ever in history to install!
I spent months looking for the perfect tile that would not cost me a fortune. I finally found this beutiful tile and thought it was a great deal. Boy was I WRONG. I hired a professional installer, just to not cut corners or run into issues with installation. Upon unpacking the tiles, we noticed that some had a mesh backing (to keep tiles straight upon installation) and others did not. However, they all had a plastic coating on the front of the tile. This was the beginning of the nightmare. We installed the tile and then began trying to remove the plastic coating the next day...which turned out to be industrial type tape that was so sticky, duct tape would be jealous. As we tried to remove the tape, tiles began randomly pulling off of the wall. My installer and I agreed that waiting a few more days might be optimal. Two days later he came back for the third visit and tiles were still pulling off. So, I told him to go and come back. I would spend my evenings trying to very carefully remove the tape. SIX HOURS and 14 sq ft of tile later, I finally removed all of the tape by working carefully and meticulously and had rougly 150 small tiles pulled off of the wall. There was simply no way around it. My installer had to come back and reinstall all of these tiles, then wait another day to come back for a FIFTH TIME to actually grout. The most frustrating experience ever!! I will never ever buy tile from Home Depot again. I spoke to a manager at Home Depot...who said he had 15 years tiling experience. I even took samples of the tile and tape and pictures of the problem. He just said, "Hmmm...never seen anything like that." No offer to do anything at all. Home Depot Customer service offered me $75 which did not even cover the extra costs I had to pay my installer or even begin to make up for the hours of my life lost with this experience. I am NOT happy. Just sso you know, this was NOT a fluke. I actually had to order additional tile several weeks after the initial order due to a miscalculation. BOTH orders suffered the same issue with this tape, and some having mesh, others not. DO NOT ORDER this.

Pulling the clear tape backing of is tricky and you better use a good thin set or adhesive. Some tile will come off if not - re-setting single tiles will not back for a fun day.

This tile may be pretty, but it is impossible to work with. No matter what my contractor did, the tile would sag. Managed to get thinset to dry, pulled off the very strong plastic sheet adhered to top of tile and it pulled tiles off! I am returning - too much time and money and still not acceptab

Gorgeous tile, very difficult to apply. It is backed by tape much like cellophane. To peel it off after it set, several tiles came with it, so I had to hand set them. The tape itself does not come off cleanly in one sheet but shreds, something like cellophane tape does when it comes off a cheap roll or an old roll. That was a huge pain in the neck, especially since I thought I had gotten it all only to discover while grouting that there were small tears left. When I tried pulling it off the tiles under where I'd pick it off would come off causing me to reset. Thank goodness it was a small area I used it in.
