We wanted to reface the fireplace with stacked stone but found out the corner pieces were expensive. We then decided to try the ledger panels instead and were very impressed with the results! It looks like stone but is actually glazed porcelain tile. There were a few cracked tiles in one of the case but I used them for side pieces and everything worked out great. Very satisfied with the look and how easy this was to cut and work with. If you are thinking of stacked stone, you might want to consider this as an option.
