The color was not originally my first choice which was discontinued. This sample was named Pine N...The color was not originally my first choice which was discontinued. This sample was named Pine Needle, which was the name of my original color. I ordered the sample to see to compare it to my original choice and discovered that though they shared the same name, the shades were not the same. The color of the new sample was not as deep or as rich as my original choice. Also, the face weight of the carpet was not as high as my original choice, and the new sample was waaaay more expensive.
That said, I decided I could live with the differences. Though the color was not my original choice, it was still a decent, if not perfect match with my décor. So I ordered it and had it installed. It's quite lovely and helps to put the finishing touch on my living room/dining room remodel.
