The MSI Copper Fire Honed Quartzite Floor and Wall Tile is a natural stone quartzite with a subtle, metallic bronze sheen. With a large selection of sizes and accessories to choose from, this tile can easily be laid in a pattern or single layout and is suitable for both residential and commercial installations, including kitchens and bathrooms. Note: Please inspect all tiles before installation. Natural stone products inherently lack uniformity and are subject to variation in color, shade, finish, etc. It is recommended to blend tiles from different boxes when installing. Natural stones may be characterized by dry seams and pits that are often filled. The filling can work its way out and it may be necessary to refill these voids as part of a normal maintenance procedure. All natural stone products should be sealed with a penetrating sealer. After installation, vendor disclaims any liabilities.

Beautiful copper metallic look slate
Lots of color and pattern variation. Open multiple boxes and mix it up before installing. Very pretty. I used these tiles as a border on a back splash so I had to cut them into strips. They cut easy using a diamond blade wet saw. I had some problems with chipping and flaking on the edges. When cutting, cut about 1/2" or so into the tile, then flip it around and start the cut from the other end. This eliminates chipping problems from the blade breaking through the edge of the tile.
Edges are not rounded. I also had a broken tile in one box. Order extra. Too bad they dont sell it by the each.
Not sure that I would use it as floor tile, but other reviewers say it is OK. Seems like it scratches easily. Would be nice to get an opinion after a couple of years installed.
I experimented with 2 types of sealers: A water based (Armor All like) sealer and 511 sealer. USE THE WATER BASED SEALER. I love 511 for other slate, but it made these tiles look very dark and dingy. The water base made them shine like a new penny.

My floor is stunning! The tiles are beautiful with...My floor is stunning! The tiles are beautiful with very interesting veins running through all of them. They also vary in texture. The only problems involved setting the tiles because they weren't perfectly square and the thicknesses varied. My contractor did an excellent job of jiggling things to make everything align and to even out the surface. I previously read someone else's review that noted that there were a lot of blue/silver tones rather than the pinkish/reddish the picture shows. I had the same experience. Would I choose these again? Absolutely!

Beautiful StoneFirst a warning - online picture is not very representative!
The coloring is all over from greys, golds, blues, and reds with no 2 tiles looking the same. I knew this before ordering and was exactly what we were looking for and turned out great. A very unique floor.
I installed it in our kitchen and an entrance.
Honed tiles are great for slip resistance.
Stone arrived in a couple of days without a single damaged tile.

I installed this product in a bathroom remodel about 4 years ago and it held up well. I purchased...I installed this product in a bathroom remodel about 4 years ago and it held up well. I purchased it based on the sample in the store, not the sample shown online. The tile I received was definitely more blue/grey than the sample shown online but consistent with the tile I saw in the store. Each box had a huge amount of variation so I would agree with other reviewers - buy extra and sort out your favorites before installing. Also, be sure to use a sealer before grouting. I liked the look of an enhancing sealer because it darkened the appearance of the floor but others might prefer a more natural look.
I like this tile so much that I am going to install it in two bathrooms and a laundry room of a home we are building. I just love the variation and interesting details in each tile. The tile held up quite well in the bathroom after installation so I have no hesitation in using it on the floor. It did chip during cutting and installation, so use care.

Beautiful and rusticLovely reds and coppers, some green/gray all in the beautiful quartzite that has a bit of a metallic shine. Most pieces were more uneven than I expected, rustic, but seemed to work well for my project of a fireplace Mantle. I love the sheen and texture. The color, like a sunset for the most part. Unique and beautiful!

Beautiful!I get so many compliments on my kitchen floor! I'm so glad I spent the extra for the honed product because it doesn't chip and flake. It cleans up well and doesn't show much dirt, which is good as we live on a dirt road. I am very happy with this product, and I recommend it high!

Interestingly textured stone tilesQuite a bit of variation in each box, but it is natural stone and that is to be expected. A few had a small chip on the corner, but that is ok since quite a few will have to be sawn for this project. Still a great value.

I received this tile about 2, maybe 3 weeks ago. Right away I noticed they are more silver and bl...I received this tile about 2, maybe 3 weeks ago. Right away I noticed they are more silver and blue than the copper appearance in the picture. Additionally, they flake and chip easily. It seems like I am cleaning up silvery flakes all the time. I'm using them to replace tile on a kitchen island and I'm finding that they stain easily. You need to keep on top on anything that drips or spills. I can't imagine using them on a floor. I have not permanently installed them yet, I want to give it a little more time to be sure I am going to be able to use them.
Overall the tile is very attractive, but based on the issues I am running into I wouldn't recommend them.
