With our recent first purchase of Invision carpet tile, this product thoughtfully packaged as a kit has met our expectations. The kits are quite expensive, but probably worth it for a dedicated DIY-er. The tiles seem to be high quality both in appearance and overall construction. We are currently installing the tiles in two adjoining rooms of our home, a project including a total of 3 doorways and two required floor transition thresholds. Since all of our our finished door trim and baseboard woodwork was already in place we are doing some detailed cutting to make everything fit correctly - and the product performs well in this situation. Also particularly good for DIY customers like us, each kit (case of tiles) includes a supply of adhesive TileTabs and related instructions. Though careful floor prep before installing with TileTabs is an important and somewhat time-consuming first step, using the TileTabs is itself relatively straightforward and low stress. We now have about 90% of our tiles laid down and the result is rewarding. Assuming the installation wears well and maintains its overall pleasant appearance, we anticipate buying more for other areas of our home. The only improvement we might hope for is that a somewhat wider choice of patterns and colors becomes available through Home Depot.
