Very happy and encouraged by these attractive and environmentally-friendly carpet tiles!
We purchased 6 cases of the tiles for our basement reno in Apr 2016 and installed these in early May. We have waterproofed the walls and floor and laid 3/4 in. tongue & groove plywood subfloor. The floor is not completely level and we have pets so we wanted a good quality tile. We also wanted a low VOC, and a recycled and recylable product was a big plus. We are *very* happy with the service received. I asked via email for a sample and it was quickly received. I asked for info on how to cut the tiles and rec'd a phone call response from J & J (sharp utility knife cutting on the back side). The tile was very easy to install with directional arrows on the back using the tapes included -- also no VOC's.
We are *very* happy with the appearance, quality and durability of these tiles! The company is American and we knew Home Depot would stand by the product if we were unhappy. Long-term we will have to wait and see but we are very encouraged!!

Installation and appearance of Developer Earth Carpet Tile
The 2 foot square size of carpet tile helped to speed installation. With careful preparation of the concrete floor, the adhesive tabs stuck well to the floor and backing of the carpet tile. There were a few factory cut edges that did not mate well. Backing was edge to edge but top carpet layer showed a gap. The factory carpet edge was not cut properly. The tweed mix of colors is consistent and matched our wall colors.
