E-Z Wall Assorted 4 in. X 3 ft. Peel and Press Vinyl Plank Wall Decor (20 sq. ft. / case) - Product information
Inspired by wall art in the commercial and residential design markets, E-Z Wall was created for the DIY consumer. There are no hassles when it comes to E-Z Wall, simply peel and press. Easy installation requires no cutting saws or heavy machinery. Because of its simple peel and press installation process, E-Z Wall brings the organic look of wood planking with a faster, more cost effective designer look. With its unique pressure sensitive adhesive, you can reposition or remove the plank without damaging your wall surface. E-Z Wall is water resistant, unlike other wood wall decor that will shift or warp overtime due to moisture. E-Z Wall remains both stain and fade resistant overtime with its protective surface wear layer, so your accent wall will never lose its luster. The surface wear layer on each plank is also scratch resistant, giving your walls protection from furniture or other objects that normally damage your walls overtime. E-Z Wall Peel and Press Planks are made from virgin vinyl that contain no fillers or substitutes.
- 20 assorted planks per box
- Easy peel and press installation
- No heavy duty tools required
- Water resistant
- Real wood look and texture
- Will not damage walls

Great overall product. The most difficult part of the job is doing a layout before so you get what you want and no bunching up of shades or colors. The texture of the vinyl is pretty cool. I recommend getting some type of heavy roller to press on after you apply. We started with liquid nails right from the start after reading several reviews of it falling from the walls. No biggie. We applied to a textured drywall that had previously been painted with a "sand" finish. Our wall was pretty large... I ordered 7 boxes and had about 5 individual pieces left at the end. You want to do this like bricks... stagger them. They are easy to cut with scissors. I also used a utility knife when I made my short ones to fit the layout... It took the better part of 8 hours... including a run for more Liquid Nails...(4 1/2 tubes). You may want to use colored caulking on the edges top, bottom, and sides to finish off.

I contacted HD originally and they sent me replacements and advised to get a J-Roller stating that maybe I got a bad batch and that with a J-Roller the panels should stick. They haven't. They are constantly falling off the wall. Not only that, but they leave a nice glue streak after they fall.
The panels that have stuck have shrunk since their initial installation so there are spaces in between every strip.
Needless to say I DO NOT recommend this product.

The instructions sound simple enough. I was working with a blank slate so thought I wouldn’t have a problem. The number one problem with this product is that it does not stick. Pieces fall of my wall daily. Because I spent so much money on this and love the way the wood look looks...I have resorted to buying spray adhesive products and am now spraying the heck out of these to have them stay on my wall. I would not recommend this to you unless you plan on doing the same. It will probably become a problem if I ever want to take it down but refused to waste that much money by not finding a way to make this project successful. I would also recommend getting these shipped to home not to store. I noticed that the product was not handled very gently at the store and when I got it home several pieces were broken. My next shipment came to my door in noticeably better shape.

I had to use small nails on every single plank in order for it to stay on the wall. I cleaned and wiped walls from all dust and debris. I also, more importantly opened all boxes containing planks and left them on my kitchen table loosely to get room temp for 2 days before I decided to place planks. As I started from the top after 3min the planks started to fall off 1 by 1. Frustrated I started to nail each corner of every plank :( which I didnt want to do, the nails are not that noticeable but if I ever have to remove the planks I will be left with a lot of nail holes which I wanted to avoid in the first place. If you dont mind nailing planks then this look will be great.

We were careful to vacuum the dust from the walls and wipe down the walls with a soapy cloth to ensure they were as clean as possible. We also let the walls dry for several hours. The wall looked great for several days, but when the weather got warm and the house temperature changed just a few degrees, the tiles contracted and popped off the wall. In the middle of the night I heard several fall and got up to assess the damage. The falling tiles had knocked a picture off the wall, which hit and broke the frame of an decorative wood outlet cover. The cover had a metal piece glued to the back of the wood frame and this had been angled and was shorting the outlet causing a spark--easy way to burn the house down. I'm very lucky I actually went to investigate. Hoping to salvage the work, I bought a can of industrial strength spray adhesive. With any luck this will work and I won't need to pull them all down. One suggestion I would make is to paint your wall a dark brown or black before putting up the tiles. Not only would this give you a pristine surface, but as the tiles shrink they leave gaps. When the gaps are dark, it actually enhances the look.

Plus the case is very small for the price of the product. Most of my planks are in the trash, it was a waste of my money. if you like this decor, just get it in wall paper.

From far away the wall looks fine, but the product is not meant as “peel and stick AND STAY” FYI. 2 star: the planks look cool but quality of sticking is terrible

Terrible adhesiveUnless youre willing to use liquid nails to attach these things to the wall, dont waste your time. I put the first box on the wall and while taking a break before the next box, could hear them falling one by one. And, yes, i prepped the wall just as instructed. Im so disappointed.
