The Merola Tile Evoque Carthusian 9-3/4 in. x 9-3/4 in. Porcelain Floor and Wall Tile is another addition to our line of pieces inspired by artisan cement tiles. The low-sheen glaze on these encaustic-inspired tiles has a rugged, distressed finish which gives these tiles an aged appearance. The old-world pattern in varying earth tones such as denim blue, khaki and olive green offers a nature-inspired look for any interior or exterior living space.

- Glazed slightly textured finish with a medium sheen and substantial variation in tone
- P.E.I. Rating IV has high resistance to abrasion and is suitable for heavy-duty residential and commercial kitchens, hotels, exhibition and sales rooms with some dirt conditions
- Impervious flooring has water absorption of less than 0.5% for indoor and outdoor use and is frost resistant

This tile reminds of something you would see in a...This tile reminds of something you would see in a Ralph Lauren ad. It would be both suitable in a modern home or a rustic cabin. I plan to use it as a large back splash in a new kitchen. For best effect, 4 tiles should be used to show the motif. So I would not recommend using it in a small area.

It is gorgeous and my tile guy said it was a good quality tile. It has a distressed look that is exactly what we were looking for. Matte finish so it's not a shiny tile. Lovely. It sells out quick, so if you find it available grab it.
