Enhance your space with the MSI Frontier Brown Polished Marble Floor and Wall Tile to incorporate a distinctive, contemporary aesthetic into kitchens, bathrooms and more. Suitable for a wide variety of commercial and residential projects, this natural stone tile comes in a deep brown color and incorporates dramatic veining with a smooth, high-sheen finish to beautifully complement your decor. Note: Please inspect all tiles before installation. Natural stone products inherently lack uniformity and are subject to variation in color, shade, finish, etc. It is recommended to blend tiles from different boxes when installing. Natural stones may be characterized by dry seams and pits that are often filled. The filling can work its way out and it may be necessary to refill these voids as part of a normal maintenance procedure. All natural stone products should be sealed with a penetrating sealer. After installation, vendor disclaims any liabilities.

GREAT PRODUCT AND VALUE
I saw the tile at the home depot store. Went online and ordered 235 pieces. It arrived very quickly. it appeared to be somewhat different then what i saw at the store, however it was very nice, with all the colors i was looking for. Out of the 235 pieces about 220 pieces were useable. The others had to be returned for they seemed to be glued together. I went to my local home depot store and had no problem returning the unused/damaged pieces. I read the reviews and were apprehensive about ordering this item, due to comments made about the tile crumbling when cut. I had a professional installer do the job and he commented that the tile was not hard to work with. So the key is get a professional installer. Overall iam very satisfied with the tile and its quality and value. It looks great in my master bath and i would highly recommend this tile. If i went to a tile store i would have paid triple the price and they would have not taken back the damaged/unused tile like home depot store did.

BEAUTIFUL MARBLEThis marble is just BEAUTIFUL, my husband used this marble to create an amazing fireplace. The colors that are in the marble are a dark brown with white and peach veins, just stunning. Before I purchased the marble I called Home Depot to ask if I did not like the color can I return an online product purchase, she said of course with no penalties, so happy I took the chance and ordered it. Home Depot has a great selection of online products and great return policy. Everyone should shop here.

Good for walls not on floorsThe appearance of this marble is absolutely beautiful with its contrasting color to veins. However I would not recommend this to be installed on a floor as I am starting to get hairline fractures along the veins.
The marble was installed over a hardie sub-floor. Installation took some time but it went rather smooth once I figured out the best method of cutting the marble. My first 2 pieces, with a wet saw (slide table w/ new blade) resulted in the tiles breaking. Too fast and the tile will break and too slow they will break.
I have had this tile installed for about 6 months and if the hairline fractures do not stop I may have to install a new floor... not what I wanted to do!
I cannot recommend this product to be used on a floor but possibly on a wall with the right amount of patience and skill.

IF however you can get enough to actually use it's decent enough, although they must have used the absolute best tile in the bunch for the picture, much of the tile has very little of the color variations you see in the photos they used. I'd probably have gone with the other brown tile had I been able to see in person but I was unable to find any in a store to go see. Perhaps the attached pictures will give you a good idea of what you will get. Be forewarned though, it's darn hard to get the tile unbroken. I'm on return number 2 of broken tiles. They simply do not pack it well enough for transit and since they do not stamp fragile on the box it takes a beating before getting to you. IF you get this tile make sure to have shipped to the store AND open it in front of associate to ensure it is useable.

Emperador dark marble is pretty but...if you aren't an expert with the tile saw, watch out. We've done several marble projects and never had splits & flaking like with this stuff. It's probably because the veins are so distinct. If you try a cut along a vein, it will crack so that's to be avoided.
It's nothing like the easy cutting with carrera and the more solidly colored marbles. The other problem is that the background color is inconsistent in darkness. Best to buy too much and then select and experiment.

Material Quality IssuesThe Home Depot sales process was fine but the quality control on the material from the supplier was very poor. Although HD stood behind the product there was a huge inconvenience from rejecting significant %s of the material and the having to re-order. after all was said and done the marble a good looking stone.

Good product at a great price. They take great...Good product at a great price. They take great care when they ship out. They are in heavy duty boxes and have blow foam all around to protect the fragile tile. I have ordered dozens of boxes and I have never had even a cracked tile.
