With its smooth, unglazed surface and its slight shade variation, the Jeffrey Court Gold Drop 11-7/8 in. x 12 in. Glass and Metal Mosaic Wall Tile can be installed alongside stone or ceramic field tiles (sold separately) to create a coordinated look. Mesh-mounted Mosaics can be used as a whole sheet or cut to make affordable feature strips. Penetrating sealers recommended before grouting. Recommend white “polymer-modified” thinset and non-sanded grout for best installation results.

  • 0.96 square foot per piece, each piece sold individually. Piece weight equals 3.11 lb.
  • Grade 1, first-quality glass and metal mosaic tile for wall use
  • 11.875 in. width x 12 in. length x 8 mm thick
  • Finish is unglazed, with a smooth low sheen and slight shade/tone variation
  • P.E.I. Rating 0 is suitable for walls and residential use only
  • Water absorption is more than 3% but less than 7% which is semi-vitreous
  • C.O.F. rating/C.O.F. .50 is recommended for standard residential application and is marginally skid resistant

Don't buy
Looks great before installation. Once you install the metallic pieces react with grout and peels and discoloration visible right away. Very dissapointed and ruined my brand new bathroom.

MUCH DARKER THAN IT SHOWED IN THE STORE!! ONCE INSTALLED, THE LIGHTNESS NEVER SHOWED AS 2 REPS STATED, SO I RETURNED UNUSED TILES AND HAD TO REMOVE AND INSTALL ANOTHER TILE. I WISH THE LIGHTING WAS CLOSER TO WHAT PEOPLE ACTUALLY HAVE IN THEIR HOMES, RATHER THAN BRIGHT MISLEADING CUSTOMERS. IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A DARK WILE, THIS IS IT !!

Looks OK but problems installing ruined the metalic pieces.
This tile looks nice but the metallic pieces are destroyed by grout. I installed this tile like hundreds of others before. I grouted it just like any other tile, about a 4 sq ft area at a time and remove excess grout. But when I started removing the grout with a sponge it would not come off of the metallic pieces, I had to really rub hard to get it off but when the grout came off so did the metallic finish leaving a splotchy tarnished look. The grout reacted with what ever metallic finish they used and ruined the metallic pieces. For the rest of the backsplash installation I applied the grout in about 1 sq ft areas and removed it quickly. DO NOT allow it to sit to firm in the grooves as with ordinary tile, it will make it almost impossible to remove from the metallic pieces and ruin the finish.

Great looking mosaic tile but not the best quality
The end result looks good but not so much close up. The quality is low with many defects from the maker - at first I thought these may be being damaged in store but after getting new boxes delivered direct I can see this is just how they are made. chipped glass, dents in the metal ones and inconsistent webbing makea the job a little harder for the money spent.
