The filling can work its way out and it may be necessary to refill these voids as part of a normal maintenance procedure. All natural stone products should be sealed with a penetrating sealer. The quantity covered is not 55 sq. feet and color changes.
I purchased these tiles to tile over 100 year old ugly and significantly damaged tiles in our vestibule.
The appearance of this product is good- generally speaking.
Be aware that the quantity covered is not 55 sq. feet as indicated in the description there are only 5 tiles in each box. It is 25 sq. feet. I have had to order more boxes delaying the completion of my project.
Also, after applying the mortar and allowing a few hours to pass I noticed that the color significantly darkens.
Maybe they will lighten as the moisture evaporates during the curing process...I surely hope so.
Further, I received some of the white tiles in with the gold tiles.
If you use these stone tiles order much more than you actually need to allow for color variation and natural flaws you might not appreciate.
Item was delivered in good shape and was well packed. I believe it will serve our purpose, but I might have to live with minor disappointment regarding color.

Not what I had in mind
Be careful of this tile! I read the reviews about color differences I wanted to give my rating. I ordered a case of this tile just to see if I liked the color so I could re-do my kitchen counter. The tile that came was beautiful. Deep gold and gray specks and just what I wanted. I proceeded to buy another 13 cases. When the 13 cases came, the color was entirely different. I would not have ordered these had I know that the color would be so different from my first order. The 13 boxes had almost no gold tones and it had a pink hue to it. I would not have purchased this for my kitchen had I known. Now I'm stuck with 13 boxes of tile that I compare to the first box and I'm so upset the color is so different. They don't even resemble the same tile when I put them up next to eachother. I know granite has color variation, but this is way more extreme than it should be. I guess I should have known there would be problems from the price of this product.

Excellent Tile
We bought these tiles for a spa shower that we are building. They match what we installed for our bathroom counter and kitchen counter several years ago. The tiles match, we're about 1/2 way through tiling the project and they are exactly what we expected. We love our counters, they're a really nice color, not dark or light and we like the flecks and the variation because you can't see messes. Our project has 0 grout lines, so it looks like one solid piece of granite and it has looked great for years so I expect the shower to do just as well. Considering the sales and the fact that this is on the cheaper side of granite tiles, it's a great value.

Can't be beat for the price!
I installed the tile as counter tops for the kitchen in a rental. Whenever I show the rental, I get multiple compliments on how great it looks. A very economical solution for counters.

Pink Granite
The good: Price and packing: I haven't installed the tile yet. First of all the packing is truely wonderful. The chair rail and square tile arrived in separated boxes, two boxes of chair rail and two boxes of 5 tile in each box . Each chair rail is wrapped in plastic, the tile pieces are packed so that the unfinished sides rest together, and the box of tile is protected by a molded foam (like a tv or stereo) .
The bad (color and chipping)
I was laying the tile out to measure my ply wood cuts and I thought the tile looked a little odd - this is due to the tile has more of a pink hue than gold so it doesnt quite match the vision I had. I logged on to home depot to search for other tile and read some of the lower reviews and they also experienced that the tile is pink. One of the other low reviews talk about the distressed finish. What this means is there is some speckling on the surface where the stone isn't polished. These are minute pinholes and some chipping where the stone was cut. My perception is the cutting wheel was overused or the speed the tile was cut was too quick and the the polishing was done prior to cutting. None of the "chipping is so bad that I wouldn't use it", but I am on line looking at other granite tile now, because the end product with this tile I feel would look slightly unprofessional. So the cost is amazing you save $6 or more a square foot, but in this case you get what you pay for. So I gave the tile a 3 the minor chipping doesn't bother me as much as the color and it is quite less than other granite, so be prepared - NOTE: The tile does look better slightly wet with water- I debated sealing a piece with high gloss sealant that I used on a slate floor but I may return the tile so I didn't. Also this tile is about .25" thick and the last granite tile I installed was an inch thick. The 4 pieces I took out of the case don't have any streaks or marbling so in terms of durability I don't think the thinner thickness would matter on floors and it definitely shouldn't for a counter
