Imitating the erratic look of Trencadís, the Merola Tile Jazz Multi 11-1/4 in. x 11-1/4 in. x 5 mm Ceramic Mosaic Tile features a variety of small tile shards strategically placed on an interlocking mesh. Let your imagination take you wherever it wants to go with the random color and design of this sporadic mosaic. Each chip features a different size, shape and color, allowing for a one-of-a-kind look every time. The strong mesh backing makes installation easier and the interconnecting format makes helps create a seamless appearance. This vitreous tile is suitable for medium-duty interior settings, including kitchens, powder rooms, backsplashes and fireplace facades. Use this as a field tile, paired with the coordinating Jazz series, or as an accent to many of our other products.

We are so lucky we found this tile. These mosaic tiles, aptly named "jazz," were used on the bathroom remodel for my client and they turned what would have been a nice yet sedate look, into an exciting and original piece of work. I used them for the shower floor, the shower niches, and an additional larger niche in another part of the bathroom.
The tile is easy to work with, solid, surprisingly easy to cut without chipping, and the backing is very stronger--stronger than what I am used to seeing. The colors are vibrant and balanced. This is the epitome of quality and style. I checked out Merona Tile's website and this mosaic tile also comes in black and white.
Friends who have come by to see the bathroom love it so much they ask where they can get the tile, which is great, but there's a part of me that whishes I could keep it a secret so I'm the only one with this great look!
