Solid and very pretty
For the price, the tile is worth it. Have not yet installed and only opened one box to see what they look like. I ordered online without having seen the tile. Appearance is lighter than website photo with less natural stone-like veining. However, the digital image is still very pretty and appears to be securely set beneath the wear layer. As a commercial interior designer, I've seen some porcelain tiles that are not well done as far as realistic quality goes with some images being a physical scan of a material, making the image on a flat tile look cheap. Personally, I prefer stone-like or wood-like style porcelain to be a bit abstracted so it doesn't appear to be a knockoff of the real thing. This tile accomplishes that. The glossy finish also adds a bit of elegance and sophistication. As I have only seen individual tiles, I am excited to install the full field of tile on the floor in our bathroom. The rectified smooth cut edge will make it nice to install a more modern 1/8" grout line. Overall, I'm quite pleased with the product.

Unfortuna Was waiting for this base for 3 weeks. Received...Unfortuna Was waiting for this base for 3 weeks. Received it and it was all damaged. Scratched all around the base. Very disappointed and now had to reorder and wait another two weeks.

Beautiful Look on a BudgetSelected this tile for my shower surround and floor and I love the look! Tile has a very high polish to it, so it keeps give a bright appearance to the bathroom. Contractor did have some trouble drilling through it- but there weren't any issues with chipping when cutting for him. Paired it with a medium grey grout and it almost looks like marble from a distance.... almost :)

Nice tile for the price B+This tile is really beautiful.
Only two issues:
1) It's difficult to get a "smooth" edge, it chips very easily, even when through we were using a new blade and tile saw
2) There are NO BULL NOSE pieces to go with it. They Manufacturer does NOT make it, (I know this because I called them), and there are no plans to make any. Why they would choose to not make a coordinating bullnose is a mystery to me. We had to use a metal piece put in. It's OK, but not as professional looking as a Bull nose would have been

Mare Cafe Tiles looked really nice at first butI bought 15 boxes of this tiles from homedepot in Long Island City as I was redoing my kitchen. The tiles looked beautiful and I believe it still is except there are cloudy haze or imprint ove a few of them. It's not from the grout as it's really smooth on the tiles. It more like when you remove the plastic, but looking at the tiles from a distance it looks dirty with all those patchy cloudy haze on it. I have spoken to the Distributor about it and they told me to ask HD to recommend something to clean but it whatever I got from hd won't help as it's embedded in the tile, it not like rough patches of grout

So I was originally looking at another tile that I found in store before discovered this online. ...So I was originally looking at another tile that I found in store before discovered this online. I like the one in store because it was grey, had similar veining like mate bianco but it wasnt glossy and I was going for a modern contemporary feel so I thought thee glossy tiles would be better, reflect more light in a small bathroom and be easier to clean. I was super hesitant to put so much faith in an online product but I'm so glad I did. I ordered 240sqft and not one of them arrived broken. They were also much lighter than the original tiles I was looking at too. I was worried from other reviews that the plastic cover would stick to the tiles like other people had mentioned but there was none of that. When my contractor first saw the tiles he thought they were super fancy and expensive and was surprised when he found out that they weren't. I didn't stagger my tiles and I wanted a grout color That blendedin with them to create a more modern look. Unfortunately the 'smoke' colored grout ended up being to white and I used a product called polyblend to seal and color the grout to match using "oyster grey". You can see the floor and wall with the door are sealed and painted but the shower and vanity wall grout are still the original color that I have yet to paint. My bathroom is still in progress mode with some grout haze on the tile still but you get the picture. Do yourself a favor and get these tiles!
