Infuse your space with visual allure with the MSI Mixed Travertine 1 in. x 2 in. Splitface Mosaic Wall Tile. Featuring a multicolor blend with random tones to add a transitional yet stylish look to your space, this tile is constructed from durable travertine material and features a semi-vitreous water absorption rating. Natural stone products inherently lack uniformity and are subject to variation in color, shade, finish, etc., so it is recommended to blend tiles from different boxes when installing. Natural stones may be characterized by dry seams and pits that are often filled. The filling can work its way out and it may be necessary to refill these voids as part of a normal maintenance procedure. All natural stone products should be sealed with a penetrating sealer.

I have worked extensively with stone mosaic products and this was by far the worst product I have...
I have worked extensively with stone mosaic products and this was by far the worst product I have ever used. Each 12 inch mesh was a different size.. some were even as much as 1/2 inch smaller. We had to buy three times the amount of product required for the job in order to find enough that matched in size. Also a big detriment was that the mesh on the back was so flimsy and disintegrated once wet by the tile saw. Again, I had to use more stone as it was impossible to use the remnants of a previously cut piece resulting in a lot of waste. There also was a wide variation of look to the stone.. some pieces were very porous and cracked, while others were nice looking. The labor hours cost me at least twice of what it should have given all the issues listed above. In the end the finished product turned out very nice but beware of the issues noted and perhaps make your life easier by choosing a different style, buy twice of what you think you need and examine each piece for size consistency before starting the job. Even though we did that, we did not expect that large of a size variation within the same box.

The tile was easy to work with the exception that we had some trouble with the interlocking. Some...The tile was easy to work with the exception that we had some trouble with the interlocking. Some stone were a little larger than the space to lock together. Also quite a few of the tiles fell off the mesh backing.

This turned out to be a beautiful product for my kitchen backsplash. It went on very easy and you...This turned out to be a beautiful product for my kitchen backsplash. It went on very easy and you don't have to worry about getting it perfectly flat against the wall because it is so textured. Yes, there were a few 1/8" gaps because some of the tile fingers were slightly longer than the others. Next time I would have done a dry fit on a table before the install and perhaps cut some of the fingers, but it still would have been ok as it was. However, I just bought a little bone colored grout and pushed it into the gaps with my fingers and wiped off the excess with a wet sponge. No big deal. Looks absolutely perfect now. Looks great against my granite counter tops, which happen to be similar to those in the photo for this product at the top of the webpage. I'm not worried about stains from cooking. I sealed the tile. I'll Just keep the lids on the pots and If I need to, I can sand or even chisel off any splatters. Since it's rough stone it will look the same.

Great Product. Easy to use, even for a first timer.Installed 41 sq. ft. this tile on a backsplash last month. Turned out great and was easy to work with. Was able to get by with a 7" portable tile saw, which was also purchased at HD. Couldn't be happier with the way it turned out. Looks great even without the enhancer portion of the sealer.
The only knock would be that some sheets seem to hold up better than others. Meaning, the tiles would fall off the mesh backing on some and not on others. Made it more difficult to work with when tiles are falling off. Once the sheet is installed it didn't matter because you could just plug the holes with the pieces that fell off.
One tip I would have is to keep all your scraps. You will need them to fill holes in corners and around windows.

Not worth the price, and not what I was expectingInitially I was very excited to get these. However during installation I found out the hard way that from one sheet to other it does not line up properly. Most of them will have gaps and as big as 1/16", 1/8". These are designed so that you can't use grout. The gaps will totally ruin the look you want to achieve. Poor quality cut, Even within the same sheet, you might find undesirable gaps. If there were no gaps, these would have been fantastic. I used a professional installer, who painstakingly tried every possible way to mend the gaps. Still the end result was not what one would expect. Very disappointed. What a waste of money and time. I am debating whether to remove these and use different tiles. I would not recommend.

Product was fairly easy to install and the final look...Product was fairly easy to install and the final look was very nice. I would have rated this product higher but many of the squares had broken or loose tiles which made for a tedious install process. Manufacturer's move from a rigid cardboard packaging to a flexible one is the main cause.

Tiles are too brittle allowing for cracks and chips...Tiles are too brittle allowing for cracks and chips on tiles that are stocked on shelves in the store due to either poor handling or cheap construction.
