Very smooth, very quiet motor, whispers. I know when you cut tile, etc., it is of course a louder sound, depending on blades and objects being cut, but when not cutting, the motor is whisper smooth, sound of quiet, "absolutely no vibration" and accurate movement, tells a lot about this tile saw. Very happy. I am a do it yourself owner, but have owned many homes, extreme kitchens with custom center islands, and huge double everything bathrooms the size of two bedrooms, and I have done all the work alone, including showers, large tile floors and huge outdoor tile patios 100 feet long, 50 feet wide, and compared to other saws I have owned, this is the best I have had the honor to experience. You know, my current neighbors do not understand, the fun and challenge to at least try to do projects. I always surprise them and complete them without one person helping, including last summer laying triple concrete steps 10 feet long, all alone, thousands of pounds of concrete with home mixer, including another patio, for another new house, and all while 64 years old. Not to mention landscaping. I mention this because I want to clarify, I am no beginner and my tile saw rating is based on home experience working on million dollar homes, both in Southern California beach areas, Las Vegas, and now Michigan. Tile projects are fun and the saw makes it easy to make things fit perfectly. I love to work on home projects, it really boosts my self esteem and morale. When you get old, you need it. Sorry about the length of this rating, I do not get the opportunity very often.

And I can tell you this...MK-101 is the best saw on the market. It's the Beatles of tile saws. It's the only game in town. Everyone else is an also-ran.

People at the desk were very unprofessional and did not show any consideration.
