This carpet made in the USA, named after the American Appaloosa horse is a nice new area rug for the bedroom. It is a light cream color that is a good contrast to the two tone new laminate flooring. It is what used to be called sculptured carpet. The design is hard to pin down. Kind of like squiggles or tree roots. The room is traditional and the rug looks nice.
The edges are bound well so no unraveling. Will need a rubberized under pad because it slides around when walked on. It feels good underfoot and will feel even better with pad. This carpet is made of Triexta. It is Polytrimethylene Terephthalate, a polyester. (Google) This has been treated to have lifetime stain protection and is stated to be pet proof. It needs to be machine cleaned about every twelve to eighteen months.
The carpet is four by six feet in size. A good size for a small area. Since this was delivered rolled up, the ends curl up and will take time to relax. This pattern comes in other colors and sizes.

It’s bound nicely and while it’s not very thick, it’s thick enough and soft to walk on. I have it in my son’s nursery to brighten up the space and he loves rolling around on it. There’s a nice textured pattern to it. My only small complaint is that even though it arrived all wrapped in plastic, the corner of the rug had a small grayish stain on it, like it had rubbed against something before being sent. It arrived with the new rug smell but after a few days the odor was completely gone. Also, it came rolled up but I was able to lay it flat immediately without curling.

This is a very high quality rug with a neatly bound edge all the way around and the typical mesh-...This is a very high quality rug with a neatly bound edge all the way around and the typical mesh-like backing, only enhanced with a pliable coating soaked into the mesh - which seems quite durable. Note that the actual color is a creme white, much lighter than depicted in the product photo. The texture pattern in the surface is elegant and refined. Note, however, that there is visible a nap in the carpet surface.

Only problem we've had was with the quality: we were puppy sitting and a puppy scratched at the carpet and caused threading to tear, not really a big deal but just the fact that it happened was upsetting. Still a great product otherwise and easy to clean spills on, overall a great product.

The pattern of Appaloosa texture seems to be of very fine quality and I do not hesitate to recommend it. The texture is a very nice pattern and does not show foot steps or indents in it if moved around.

Other reviewers stated it was soft & I took their word for it & am not disappointed. It is dark gray with a light gray pattern that is very pleasing.Great buy.

The pattern is an irregular paisley/leaf shape with a soft open and closed loop thread. Heavy for its size, the backing is stiffer than most area rugs and moves on bare floors without a gripper underneath(my cats like this and enjoy charging at full speed to get it to slide) and the corners tend to curl up but then they relax back down again. Had a mild odor when it arrived, put it outside for a few hours on a warm day that was long enough to get rid of it. I spilt coffee with milk and sugar on it which pooled on the closed loop but wicked thru to the back on the open loops, first used paper towels to absorb coffee then a water rise, ended up using a floor/carpet cleaner without detergent to get the rest of it out. No stain on top but it shows a little bit on the back so I can state that they stain resistancy is accurate!

It was rolled up and wrapped in clear packaging. The rug came perfect, no snags or problems with the rug itself. The rug rolls out very nicely and stayed flat when I put it on the floor. This is the first rolled rug I've had that does not have a crease from being folded or rolled that has to be worked out! It has a nice scotch guard to it so spills roll right off. It also has scotch guard on back of rug so wetness won't seep threw. I really am pleased with this product! It is very well made and cleans up nice. I would recommend this rug!
