The mats slip around so it's almost like you have...
The mats slip around so it's almost like you have to glue them to the step in order for them to stay put. Someone else may have a better idea...which I am open to since they are the perfect color and a great design.

There's a bit of a spongeness (for lack of a better word) to it, so that stepping on a stair feels soft underfoot.
