Looks like wood-Perfect for kitchen
Best of both worlds - durable as tile, looks like wood. Perfect for the kitchen!
I did not like tile floors - until this one (I don't like the shininess, square patterns, or grout lines). I've never had tile prior to this, so I did have to get used to the "hardness" of the floor, but it's worth it for the durability since it's in the kitchen.
The variation in the tiles make it look just like wood. People think it is wood until they touch it. This color pattern HIDES EVERYTHING - dog hair, dirt, food crumbs, all of it. I can't see any of it until I start sweeping, or feel it on my bare feet. :)
I used 6x24 tiles. The tiles are thicker (higher, deeper?) than other tile floor pieces I was considering. We did it ourselves, so we didn't do a grout line. This really makes it look like a wood plank floor. We plan to rub in however much grout we can to help seal the floor and hopefully give longer durability. Grout = un-sanded, Summer Wheat (#45).

Exactly What We WantedWe had 320 square feet of the redwood porcelain tile installed. It looks amazing...very much like real wood floors.
I will caution buyers about one thing...the tile looks much lighter inside the Home Depot store under fluorescent lighting than it does in our home under incandescent lighting. We initially purchased linen color grout because that's what was used on the display at HD but once I saw the tile installed in my home and noticed how much darker it looked, we opted for the light smoke colored grout instead and it's a perfect match for the tile (unless you prefer a noticeable outline around each piece of tile).
The guys who installed the tile were very impressed with the quality of the tile as well, saying it cut much better on their saw without leaving chipped edges like ceramic tile does.
Overall we highly recommend this product.

Looks great, very realisticTile looks fantastic -- very realistic. I have gotten a lot of compliments, and can't believe it's actually tile.
The composition of the various tiles was different than I'm used to, in that there weren't just four variations to work with. It appears that there's one giant wood grain pattern and the tiles are randomly cut from that pattern. Meaning, the same knot won't be in the same place on each tile with that knot. That can be good for providing diversity, but can be bad when trying to sort them to ensure you're not getting similar tiles near each other. Also, some boxes had many tiles from the same area of the pattern, while others were more diverse. We tiled two different rooms at the same time, so we were able to mix and match tiles from a few boxes at a time with no issue. With a smaller area, you might hit a box that isn't very diverse and not be as happy. We used 3/16 spacers and charcoal grout and it looks great.

Good for a wood floor look in high traffic or high sun areasWe purchased this product for a log home. Much of the home has wood flooring but the great room (18x26) was carpet which had faded heavily in areas exposed to the steady sun from the floor to ceiling windows. As this room is high traffic, opens to the deck (lots of mountain snow-Montana) creating some opportunity for wet floors, and has a fireplace which would require some offset from a wood floor or risk discoloration, we chose this product.
The edges of the tile are smooth and finished, so we were able to lay the tile butted together without grout lines. While it would never stand up to scrutiny as a wood floor, it is a close enough mimic that in photos people assume it is an extension of the wood flooring elsewhere in the home.

One delivery person for 3600 lbs and only a pump up jack. My contractor helped but the driver said if there was no help he would of left without delivering. Home Depot needs to mange their vendors to ensure better delivery

It is GORGEOUS, and I actually prefer it over the wood-look tile we already had. We’ve gotten so many compliments on it, and it really does look fantastic. The color is great, and it looks like actual wood!!

I asked for enough tile to do 834 sq feet....I asked for enough tile to do 834 sq feet. They sold me two pallets saying there would be enough. 88 boxes. It was not enough and they also sold me two different batches so my flooring has alternate colors. The contractor thought I did on purpose so he laid it that way. Very disappointed
