Replacing carpet on basement stair well with these. Custom cut to fit slightly different stair depths and widths. Cuts easily and has a good top grip with the ribbed texture.

The quality of these treads is very good. They were...
The quality of these treads is very good. They were very easy to cut, using a sharp utility knife. The only downside is that being very soft rubber, they were very prone to showing dirt and shoe prints. Another color may hide dirt better than the sandstone.

Easy to cut and fit, as long as you measure...
Easy to cut and fit, as long as you measure three times and then cut once (that could just be my obsessiveness). Actually since I wanted a very snug fit, I cut depth first, then layed the tread in to check squreness on the left edge. Fit left then cut right side.
