The MSI Roman Beige Mini Ledger Panel Natural Travertine Wall Tile is a natural stone travertine with neutral tones. Strips of stone are stacked and glued together to form a 4.5 in. x 16 in. panel that is easy to install, while the stepped pattern enhances the naturally random, one-of-a-kind appearance. This tile can easily be laid in a pattern or single layout and is suitable for both residential and commercial installations, indoors or out. Note: Please inspect all tiles before installation. Natural stone products inherently lack uniformity and are subject to variation in color, shade, finish, etc. It is recommended to blend tiles from different boxes when installing. Natural stones may be characterized by dry seams and pits that are often filled. The filling can work its way out and it may be necessary to refill these voids as part of a normal maintenance procedure. All natural stone products should be sealed with a penetrating sealer.

I did a lot of research prior to purchasing this color, read lots of reviews and website articles...I did a lot of research prior to purchasing this color, read lots of reviews and website articles. The product was as expected, with some boxes containing quite a bit of variance in features within the stone panels, which in my view make them very interesting. I was worried about some reviews stating that there were lots of broken pieces; I found some but not a as bad as I expected and I used the broken pieces to fill in at corners and odd spaces, so very little was wasted. Easy to cut with a tile saw, and I cut slivers as small as 1/16" without noticeable chipping.
Handle with care because they will break if you bang them even slightly.
Now here is the bad. I wanted to buy the corner pieces same color and the company MS International were not helpful at all, cost me about 2 weeks of time being jerked from one place to the other until I spoke to Steve Giannakopoulos, Assistant manager at Home Depot, Englewood, Florida. He did as he said he would, he called the company and special ordered the corner pieces for me even though Home Depot does not carry them. How is that for awesome service? Very happy with the service at Home Depot, Englewood, Florida.

Terrific customer service/great looks/poor packaging & questionable manufacturingThe Roman Beige ledger panels were exactly what I wanted for appearance on my new fireplace facing, so I decided to take the risk even after reading the reviews with reservations about the packaging. I am very happy with the final look of my project, but the lightweight cardboard the panels are packed in at the manufacturer simply do not keep the panels supported for the weight of the stone so there was breakage and then at Home Depot they were stored where rain further destroyed the packaging, so I had black mildew and crumbled stone inside about half of the boxes. Home Depot and the manufacturer were both very quick to allow me to return the unacceptable boxes and credit back the money on my card. Thanks guys! After gently hosing and wiping the panels clean, I let them air dry and discovered that even more had cracked or come unglued. I was still able to piece together and use enough for my project that thankfully turned out smaller than I had originally intended or I would have been forced to order a second pallet of 10 cases (boxes) to have enough stone and then return again any left over boxes since my Home Depot doesn't carry these by the case; only by the pallet. So as long as you are fully aware of the potential for disaster and this creamy base color is exactly what you want, I'd say, "Sure, give it a try!" However, if you don't have plenty of time to wait on shipping, breakage, returns, etc. you should probably look for something else.

This is a very forgiving product, you can be an amateur installing this and see great results. T...This is a very forgiving product, you can be an amateur installing this and see great results. To clarify, use a white mortar, any excess blends in with the Roman Beige color and there is no grouting so there is no spacing issues. I have installed over 600 square feet since summer of 2016. I will say the earlier product had slightly thinner pieces in the panels and I also have noticed a much better glue holding the panels together. It is possible since this is a real, natural stone that I got an odd batch for thickness. This is my "go to stone" nowadays. Last week I did a gas fireplace that had your typical red brick in 4 hours. About 15 square feet. Right over the top of the brick. Instant update.

The boxes contain six panels without any foam dividers. Consequently, the fragile panels are not supported and you have a lot of breakage. So far, I bought four boxes and returned two. I need 11 so it looks it will take a while to get enough panels. I visited all the Home Depot stores in my area trying to find enough intact pieces and I saw many boxes on the shelves filled with broken panels. Some stores sell intact pieces separately. Other stores toss the whole box. What a waste.If you plan on doing a project, I would recommend doing so as soon as possible. I can't see how MSI can stay in business with such little disregard for proper packaging to ensure their excellent product arrives in one piece.

I ordered two full pallets online after failing to find anything of similar quality at a reasonable price in local stores, including specialty stone/tile shops. The stepped shape in conjunction with the placement of double-width stones makes for a seamless and pattern-less installation. This is in contrast to results I've seen with other products that had panel sections that were simply stepped. Transit breakage was minimal, and there were only a few panels that I chose not to use because the stones weren't to my liking, either because the natural variation wasn't pleasing to my eye or because the stones weren't set straight on the panel. I ended up having FAR less than the normal 10% waste one typically budgets for, and was able to return one full pallet to a local store. Delivery didn't happen on the assigned day, but a day later there was a pile of rocks in my driveway, nicely shrink wrapped and boxed and sitting on a forklift pallet. Delivery charges were $55 to Denver, a bargain for 1400 pounds of stone. Amazingly, half the shipping charges were refunded when I returned the unused pallet. Appears to have been imported from China, if that matters to you. All in all, an excellent product at a great price. I couldn't be more pleased.

It is not fair that I went to home depot...It is not fair that I went to home depot showroom in Peoria, and I sow the tile in good shape and color and when i ordered online I get poor quality of tile for the same tile, I don't expect the home depot will do this type of work.
I will not bay anything from home depot again...

The bad news is that much of the product is damaged when you buy it. On my last trip back to the store, I opened and inspected the boxes before I bothered taking them home; I went through five boxes before I found one that didn't have at least one broken panel.
