MSI Rustic Gold Ledger Panel 6 in. x 24 in. Wall Tile is a Natural Stone Slate with a rustic mix of earth tones. The tile features random strips of stacked stone glued together for ease of installation. Each piece has an S-shaped end that helps interlock the pieces and enhance the random look. This tile can easily be laid in a pattern or single layout and is suitable for residential and commercial installations. Note: Inspect all tiles before installation. Natural stone products inherently lack uniformity and are subject to variation in color, shade, finish, etc. It is recommended to blend tiles from different boxes when installing. Natural stones may be characterized by dry seams and pits that are often filled. The filling can work its way out and it may be necessary to refill these voids as part of a normal maintenance procedure. All natural stone products should be sealed with a penetrating sealer.

Love how it turned out...stone mason liked the product and install went well. Had to buy corners from manufacturer..two corners made this column. Used the flat pieces from home depot on the house. Mason cut real slate for tops.

The only thing that was annoying was getting the corner pieces. They couldn’t be ordered online so I had to go to the store and get them special ordered.

Great value! I looked all over and found the best deal here (online only). It was originally out ...Great value! I looked all over and found the best deal here (online only). It was originally out of stock at the lowest price, but I received an e-mail from HD when it was available. I think MSI may be thinner than some others, but I can't see how that matters in this application. There was very little breakage and I was able to easily cut it on a (dry) table saw with a masonry blade. I did an entire fireplace wall and hearth for less than $200. Outstanding!

Overall very pleased with the panels. Very nice look...Overall very pleased with the panels. Very nice look for a reasonable price and fairly easy install. Only complaint was that I ran into a batch of panels that had slight bends to them, which caused some slight gapping in the panels and ended up having to cut a bunch of panels to keep level.

Installed this product over hardiboard to redo our painted fireplace....Installed this product over hardiboard to redo our painted fireplace. As with any tile job it is all in the prep work! This stone cut easily with a tile saw and was pretty easy to do if you have tile experience.We had 2 boxes that had broken pieces but theu were still salvagable for cuts.

Nice product to work with. I used this product for my fireplace wall and overall the project cam...Nice product to work with. I used this product for my fireplace wall and overall the project came out very nice. A few things to be aware of. The colors of the product on an in-store display or even online photos are not representative of what is in the box. This is natural stone that has a chalky haze on it and needs to be cleaned and enhanced. It wasn't until we did this that we saw the colors we expected in the product. So, just be aware when pulling from the boxes. Also, you have to be careful with the pieces as they are panels of individual pieces glued together. Some of the pieces were delicate and broke in half when trying to grab and lift from one end. Use two hands when pulling them out of the box and support both ends to prevent this from happening. I used about 11 cases in total for my project and only had this happen on 2-3 pieces, but I learned my lesson after the first one and handled them very carefully afterward. One other thing that bugged me about the deal with Home Depot is that they only sell this particular product by the pallet quantity. For my project, I needed 68 sq ft and a pallet quantity is 60 sq ft. I wasn't able to buy the additional two cases from Home Depot and had to purchase the balance from another retailer. They did have a great price for the pallet quantity and in the end it worked out for me, but not good for someone who has a smaller project to work on. Finally, this was the first time I tackled a project like this and was a bit intimidated at first. However, when doing research on MSI's website, I found very good support and installation instructions to guide me through the process. I would have given an Excellent rating had it not been for the few concerns I expressed here. I would still highly recommend using this product.
