Rustica Brick Noce Slate 10-3/4 in. x 12-3/4 in. x 8 mm Porcelain Mosaic Tile - Product information
The look of natural slate gives your home a classic touch, and the Merola Tile Rustica Brick Noce Slate 10-3/4 in. x 12-3/4 in. x 8 mm Porcelain Mosaic Tile captures it beautifully. The grays, blues and browns come together, creating a color scheme that blends with any decor style. Every elongated subway-style brick deviates from the other in color and texture because of its reactive glaze, ensuring that your installation will be unlike any other. For use indoors and out, it works well as a rugged field tile or cut into strips for floors and walls in kitchens, showers, bathrooms, and backsplashes.

Excellent for Kitchen Splash Tile Projects
I am a DIYer who purchased this tile for a kitchen splash tile project in January 2013. This was my first time installing tile so I watched some YouTube videos on tile installation, bought the needed trowels, tile nippers, mortar, grout and tile then did the install. This tile is very easy to work with as it "mesh backed" which allows you to make any needed tile cuts as well as the cutouts for the electrical outlets very simple process by just using the tile nippers. You won't need a wet saw! The tile appearance is "very rich" looking however I would echo the other reviewer by saying the actual appearance of the tile has much more gray in it than the online photos show. I took this into consideration when I selected this particular tile and was very happy with the results. Be sure to use a natural gray grout color and you will have a perfect looking result! This tile is a little more expensive than others but is worth it in my opinion as it has interlocking tiles which improves the end result appearance! The entire cost of my kitchen splash tile project was under $300 including the tile, tools, mortar and grout. I completed the project in 72 hours.

Not colorfulWe chose this tile because of the warm brown, gold, and green tones pictured on this website. We were surprised when the tile arrived and it is mostly gray tones with a little black. There are some brown tones. There is no blue tone at all.

I was looking for a tile product that looked like...I was looking for a tile product that looked like stone for our guest bathroom. This one is beautiful. Browns, cream, and gray tones dominate (there is no blue) which is exactly what we wanted for our updated 1923 Craftsman home. The tile is made in Japan and the product is excellent.
