Add a splash of sophistication to your decor with Scabas Splitface Travertine Mesh-Mounted Mosaic Wall Tile from MSI. It features 1 in. x 2 in. travertine bricks in a blend of gold and yellow in random tones, lending an upscale look and contemporary flair to any interior expanse. The low-sheen, splitface-finished genuine stone strips are perfectly arranged on a 12 in. x 12 in. mesh-backed mosaic, which seamlessly interlocks with other tiles to create a uniform appearance. Suitable for residential and commercial use, this versatile tile has infinite applications to complement a variety of installs. It is constructed from durable travertine material and features a semi-vitreous water absorption rating. Note: Inspect all tiles before installation. Natural stone products inherently lack uniformity and are subject to variation in color, shade, finish, etc. It is recommended to blend tiles from different boxes when installing. Natural stones may be characterized by dry seams and pits that are often filled. The filling can work its way out and it may be necessary to refill these voids as part of a normal maintenance procedure. All natural stone products should be sealed with a penetrating sealer.

Online photo must be old - Product has obviously changedI purchased 35 tiles in total, I could immediately see upon review of each tile that they do not look anything like the photo that enticed me to make this selected purchase, you will find absolutely NO grayish or blue tones whatsoever, I thought possibly photo flash may have highlighted accents within the tiles, I attempted to shine a construction high watt light at the tiles to see if i could replicate visually some of the marbleized tones shown in this photo. Not possible, manufacturer either changed their source of stones or they chose 1 fine specimen from thousands to display here. As another reviewer mentioned the tiles are NOT 12x12 as advertised, they are EXACTLY 11.0"x11 3/8" each but they do offer a lower per unit cost on these tiles then some of the others available. To add additional insult to my project, out of the 35 tiles i purchased, they appear to be from 2 different runs of similar product 11 out of the 35 were Brown cardboard color tones mixed with cream/beige and the other 24 tiles were more of a yellow sand color w/off white tones. If you are looking to have a project with all simliiar looking material, the only way i can recommend getting around it is to special order twice the product you actually need, separate the tiles into similar categories, do your project then return all of the oddball tiles that don't match the others. My overall opinion is that these tiles still look nice (not as nice as the photo for sure if you are looking for the marbleized appearances seen in their photo, the tiles have a nice variety of surface depths from stone to stone, i gave appearance the only low rating in my review, not because they aren't still nice tiles, i just have nice tiles now instead of really nice tiles as expected. Borderline false-adverstising or lack of upkeep on keeping photos look like the current manufacturers product. One last mention, 3 of tiles received were received with the corners broken off and missing from the box, i give it a 3.5 out of 5 since my expectations were lowered. Thank you, Jim (46 yrs old)

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A ROUGH TEXTURE LOOK THAT IS DIFFERENT THAN MOST TILE (STONE) ON THE MARKET THIS IS ITLOVE THE LOOK. THE ONLY THING TO BE AWARE OF IS THE TILE MEASUREMENTS LISTED IN THE PRODUCT DESCRIPTION ARE 12"X12" THE ACTUAL MEASUREMENTS ARE 11"X12-3/8" KEEP THIS IN MIND WHEN FIGURING THE NUMBER OF TILES NEEDED FOR YOUR JOB. THEREFORE, THE TILE DOESN'T COVER 5 SQFT./CASE AS STATED
