These pens have a longer drying time so unwanted marks can be wiped away. ScratchCure also features two different engineered tip sizes; a broad 8 mm chiseled tip and a targeted fine point tip. This product is easy to apply but does not fill scratches and dents.
The pen is super easy to use. It has a pen tip and wider 8 mm chiseled tip for large applications. It comes in multiple colors that can be combined for a custom shade. The product is non-toxic, non-flammable and has no odor. Application is also permanent.
My pen had no instructions and I was unable to find best time between applications. Online descriptions mention that the product is slow to dry and thus easy to wipe off mistakes. I tried several different times between applications to see if there is a difference and it does not seem to be.
Cherry color seemed more brown but it worked well on Bombay Co. style dark cherry wood furniture.
Overall, the product is very easy to use. It is a thin liquid that will stain scratches and will mask them. But it will not fill deeper or larger scratches. For those would be best to use a wood filler and than the pen. I do recommend it.

I have a dining room table at my condo that looks pretty worn out, due to scratches and marks fro...I have a dining room table at my condo that looks pretty worn out, due to scratches and marks from use. It's a nice table, but the wear makes it look kind of junky.
In the past, I've used one of those furniture marker pen, which doesn't do a great job, but at least it helps a little. I was looking for something that could do a better job.
How does this product work? My results are generally good.
1,. On deep scratches, this product does a good job. It works like a stain, but in a controllable pen format. I used the narrow pen part vs the thicker part, so I could control the product going into the scratch. I had to use a few layers to get the color close. Not perfect, but much better than seeing the original scratch.
2. On light scratches, it didn't work so well. My table has a clear coat that didn't seem to take the stain very well. It also got a little darker than the rest of the table and I had to buff it off.
So, it did help the deep scratches. For the lighter scratches, I'm still searching for the right product.
I recommend this scratch repair pen, because it did what other products haven't been able to do.

Easy fix! had a scratch in my laminate wood floor, caused by a felt pad on the bottom of a chair...Easy fix! had a scratch in my laminate wood floor, caused by a felt pad on the bottom of a chair that failed:( this pen is GREAT! has two different size tips a fine & a wide. similar to that of a pen & marker. simple to use. if you are looking for a darker color. allow the first application to dry a few minutes then re apply. it is not going to fill a scratch rather it will blend the color. I didn't have much success with my cherrywood table leg but it is not as noticable from a distance. I would recommend lightly sanding the area to be treated before applying this. It has broad and fine tips on either end. It is non-toxic and non-flammable. Bonus: Made in U.S.A.

ScratchCure Cherry Wood, Laminate and Vinyl Scratch Repair Pen
I found this very easy to use and direct the scratch treatment to where it is needed. The table comes with two separate heads to match the width of the scratch that you are repairing.
You use this just like a pen or large marker and fill in the scratch by going back and forth.
Works on furniture, cabinets and even wood flooring. The key to using these is to get the proper color to begin with. Not for pieces that will be closely inspected, but to hide the glaring scratches of standard everyday visual glances.

I was impressed by the ScratchCure Cherry Wood, Laminate and Vinyl Scratch Repair Pen. Looking at...I was impressed by the ScratchCure Cherry Wood, Laminate and Vinyl Scratch Repair Pen. Looking at it I noticed it was made in the USA and also not flammable. A huge bonus on both counts as a touch up pen in this price range it is one of the better ones.. The pen has a broad and fine tip. I had a lot more success using the fine point. I applied a couple of coats using the fine tip, I found this worked best. I was then able to vary the color to look more natural, with some spots looking lighter and some darker. It worked well to hide some scratches that went down to the bare wood.

For anyone who has real wood furniture this is an essential and should be kept with furniture oil and or polish. Useful on wood flooring as well. Two tips, one broad for gings. one very fine for Dings.Large body for a stable grip.
Caps seal tight so that there is no drying and loss of stain.
Drys in a few minutes, and no excess which needs to be removed after repair.
Color on the tube, light to dark is true to the finished result
Should have had these for years, glad to have them now.

The pen has two points a fine tip on one side and a broad tip on the other. Apply slowly and buff between applications to achieve your desired shade. This pen does not fill in scratches it just covers them. If your looking to achieve company not noticing scratches on quick glances this pen is the way to go to touch up minor spots. Try to test in a nonconspicious spot, I found it difficult to match with my exact shade of cherry.
