The finished project looks absolutely stunning! If laid carefully and correctly, it is definitely worth the effort. I used a medium-grey grout which blended in very well. The most difficult part of the project was cutting the tile. It is difficult to get a straight cut because when a small tile meets the blade, the pressure against the tile causes it to squeeze to the next tile therefore creating a small angle cut instead of a straight line. I made a jig consisting of a 4" X 13" X 1/2" piece of plywood with a 3/16" x 12" space cut out of the center of the board (to allow the wet saw blade to travel freely). I then overlaid a 12 x 12 piece of tile (with backing) over the board, aligning it with the top of the board. I then put a pencil mark on either side of the cut out piece, between each layer of tile. Then I drilled a hole in each pencil mark just large enough to accommodate a 1/16" plastic spacer. I blued the spacers to the jig. When I needed to cut the tile, I placed the tile over the jig allowing the spacers to fit between the spaces. In this way, the tiles did not go out of alignment when I made the cuts. Lastly, definitely use the prepared thin set recommended by Home Depot for this job. The tiles will not sag! I used very few spacers for my job. It worked very well.

Kitchen bling that is not glass tile!I used this tile as a row in a backsplash. The accent row was a strip of 3 of these tiles tall on a back field of bigger subway tile. You just cut the backing to use them this way, saves on $$ and cutting. it is a great look, gives some non-glass bling to bring in the stainless appliances in the room. I think a whole backsplash of this would be a little busy. I love it. Gives more light by reflectng the under counter light a bit more. I don't notice finger marks, and it cleans great with SS cleaner. I used Delorean Grey unsanded grout, which is not a big contrast. You might like lighter or darker to make it pop. Do be careful, even the uncut tiles are razor sharp! Wear gloves (and goggles) cutting it!!

Really love the modern lookI love the sleek and modern look of this tile in my newly-constructed home's kitchen used as a backsplash. Previous reviewers really helped me with this installation since there were few directions on the tile. I had a handyman cut and attach the tile since a diamond saw is needed. Some of the metal part popped off when cut so we were ready to glue it back on with super glue. He also filed the sharp edges after cutting the tiles. My daughter and I did the grouting with a pure white grout that was unsanded. I intend to use stainless steel cleaner on it after it has been sealed to shine it up and smooth out any minor scratches. Buy more tile than you think you need so you can eliminate ones that have small dents or deep scratches. Even an unopened box came with some dented tiles.

Was a good purchase, and looks great as a back splash.My installer had no Idea on how to cut these title, and was advised to use tin snip cutters. Wrong ! They will flatten out at the cut,and the ceramic will separate from the metal front. After he had started the job and had left for the day. I went and got my roto tool ,and I used the cutter blade (I went thru quite a few) and with help of a mask ,it cut right thru the titles very quick and precise. After measuring I used painters tape,and taped it to a piece of scrap wood 1/2 all around about 6" and it worked like a charm. Also a few of the titles separated ceramic from the stainless metal casing, just glue back together

Looks nice but...While cutting tile for the install, the silver veneer would pop off of the ceramic base and needed to be glued back on. The finished product is nice, but the install was a little frustrating. Also, some of the tiles came out of the box with scratches on them.
