Just what we were looking for...
We were looking for some type of removable carpet to put on our wood stairs to help our aging dog get up and down them easier. These look great on the wood stairs and the pattern adds a lot of warmth. The instructions with them say to nail or tack them down, but we purchased a roll of tape made to hold down rugs and lined the outer edges with it. They do not slide and we can still take them up for easier cleaning.

Stratford Bedford Brown Stair Carpet TreadWe purchased the carpet treads when we adopted our rescue dog. We wanted to protect the wood staircase treads. After putting them on the wood staircase treads, we find that they look very nice and our dog has better purchase going up and down the stairs, while the wood treads are protected from her nail scratches. We also like the rich color and the thick pile of the carpet treads themselves. This was a win-win for us.

Happy with carpet treads.I am happy with the carpet treads. They are exactly what I needed. I purchased them for our older dog who was having trouble going up the stairs. But they have been very helpful for us humans as well. :) The brown color worked well with our staircase. They added an extra 'wow' to our home.

Classy looking and plushThese stair treads look great on our wood stairs, and help the older dogs get up and down them. You will need to get stair tape to secure them, they do not have a rubber backing.

So happy with this purchase!Hated the thought of covering up my beautiful wood steps with anything, but my small dog was having too much trouble getting up and down. But once I decided to go with the Natco treads I had the hardest time choosing a pattern! I went to the store to see samples up close and that made it even harder - very high quality, beautiful patterns.
They arrived in less than a week after I ordered. I used one strip of double sided tape (careful - it's sticky!) near the front of step and am very happy with the adhesion.

Nice! Be careful when you install...We got these to make it easier for our Greyhound to get upstairs. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality and the looks. We used double-sided tape to hold them down--it's doing quite well. The only warning I have is that the design is NOT symmetrical! Lay them out FIRST, look at them, and flip some around to make it look right. I didn't and had to switch 2 of the 5 I had put down.
The only thing I would add or change about this product would be a pad to make it even softer. The carpet is very soft, but a pad would be nice.

WHAT A RELIEF!My wonderful Yorkie Zack was slipping and falling on our hardwood stairs. He became so scared that we had to carry him up and down. These treads have added to his quality of life, and ours as well. Zack is now able to navigate the stairs with no problem. Our aching knees also have a softer landing. The treads are a nice color, durable, and they look really beautiful! We are very satisfied with this purchase.
