The best solution when wood won't work
We had installed Shenandoah 3/4" Oak flooring that changed color dramatically in the first year, began shrinking and did not stand up to our three cats. We ripped it out and installed Trafficmaster Allure and are terribly pleased. We have pine panel ceilings and blue\grey walls so this floor color was perfect to balance the room. The texture looks and feels great on bare feet and is very easy to maintain. If you are focusing on the floor to see if it's real or not- jumping on or stomping with foot- it is easy to see that it is not hard wood. But if you are in need of durability and do not like the look of all other laminate or click products, I strongly recommend getting a sample. This most likely is your answer.

In August 2015 We purchased this flooring to put in our Master bedroom and bathroom. My husband ...In August 2015 We purchased this flooring to put in our Master bedroom and bathroom. My husband had experience laying laminate, but this was different, but once he got the hang of it, he finished it in no time at all. It has held up well. In June of 2016 we purchased more of the same to put in our children's bathroom and upstairs hall. He started laying it and realized it wasn't working as well as the last batch in that the pieces of plank from the original purchase did not fit in quite as well with the new batch purchased a year later. This is not good news, because we had planned to purchase as we went from project to project. Now, we have multiple planks that do not "fit" with each other. We are happy with the flooring, just not the fact that different lots have different edges that make it hard to put together, if not impossible.

NoiseMy floor has been installed for 2-3 months. It makes noise when we walk on it. We had Home Depot professional installers and we are unhappy.
We had this install d in a smaller room one year ago with no noise.
Why does the flooring make creaking noises in the new room?

Not what I was asking for at all...The web page I ordered from made me think I was getting 3mm thick peel & stick vinyl flooring but what I actually received was 8mm thick click together floating vinyl flooring.
