I really loved this color and product, but wish that...
I really loved this color and product, but wish that I didn't have to order the sample; it should have been available in the store for free. Since I had to order it, I really expected it to be a larger sample - more the size of a floor tile. It also took so long to get it that I had to order a similar product from another company in order for my contractor to get my floors installed on schedule.

Awesome flooring!What an awesome flooring. We had it installed last week in our hall, kitchen, dinningroom and sunroom. We are so pleased with the look, quality and texture. We have had our neighbor's over and they are considering the same flooring. We recommend this life proof flooring to everyone looking for a durable, water resistant, easy care floor. Way to go Home Depot this is a great product for your customers.

I'm renovating my kitchen to include new floors. As HD...I'm renovating my kitchen to include new floors. As HD does not carry samples of all flooring they peddle in the store, I needed to order samples (assuming of course they were available). Since I needed a specific thickness, my choices came down to Ash & Dark Oak under the Life Proof branding and Gotham Oak with the Allure brand. It is worth noting that both Life Proof & Allure brands come from Halstead. Since there was not a Gotham Oak sample available, per the Halstead rep in the Q&A section of flooring products, I needed to order a full box of it to see the color. I was shocked to see it's the same color as the Ash Oak!
