The Travisano collection, by MARAZZI, is a porcelain tile designed as a re-interpretation of classic travertine. The realistic natural stone look is achieved through a beautifully crafted surface, coupled with the latest in technological advances in tile, known as ink jet printing. This technology allows for the most realistic recreation of authentic, ever-changing fissures and striations of luxurious travertine stone. This collection offers a wide variety of sizes, including 12 in. x 12 in. mosaic tile that has become very popular for residential and commercial settings. The collection also includes an assortment of trim and mosaics, simplifying the design and selection process.

  • 0.969 square foot per piece, each piece sold individually. Piece weight equals 3.9 lb.
  • Grade 1, first-quality porcelain tile for floor, wall and countertop use
  • 12 in. width x 12 in. length x 0.31 in. thick
  • Glazed smooth finish with a medium sheen and a random variation in tone

The Travisano Bernini tile selection worked perfectly for me to re-purpose my old Charmglow Barbecue Gas Grill into a sink with serving board. I removed the firebox, put on some 5/8 ply wood, cement board, dropped in a bar sink, and added the tile. The selection of tiles, trim, and edging made this project into a fun and attractive piece to put on my deck. The counter top and sink will withstand the weather and still look great for many years to come.

Not for shower floor
My tile contractor said these are a poor choice for the shower floor because the many joints give mold a big chance to grow. So I returned these and purchased 6x6 tiles for the shower floor.
