Carpet Reducer/Baby Threshold is used for transitions between carpet and hard surface flooring. This unfinished molding can be stained or painted to coordinate with our real wood flooring. Use with these Millstead floors: Maple 3/8 in. thick click floors, 1/2 in. engineered floors and 3/4 in. solid floors. This molding is proudly crafted in the USA from wood grown and responsibly harvested in the USA. Attach moldings to wood subfloors using countersunk nails and finish with putty. Adhere moldings to concrete subfloors using construction adhesive.

This was a special order item, not stocked at my...This was a special order item, not stocked at my store. Maple is very light in color. This piece took a nice stain on both sides but not in the middle part. Overall, this is satisfactory.
