Perfect!!
My 12 years old dog started to have a difficulty to climb up and down the wooden staircases. I talked to her vet's office people, and was suggested to put the stair treads down for her to grab. Since the stairs are inside of the house and facing to the entrance door, the looks was as important as the purpose. When I found this stair tread, I liked the color and the design. When I received them, I liked them more! They look exactly as the photo shows, and the black base gives nice accent between the dark and light browns. Overall look is strong and bold. They are heavy duty, (most likely they are made for the exterior usage, I guess) so I don't need to tape them down, they are heavy enough to stay flat by itself. My dog is large, but they don't move when she walks on them. My taste is contemporary, and they fit into my decor very well. I'm very happy with their looks and quality, and my dog is not worried to climb up and down the stairs any more!

Great Value, ease of installation.I would strongly recommend this product and appears to be very durable. I installed using 2" screws and screw gun, so it couldn't have been any easier! I have seen others nail similar products in place, and that's fine. But we have pine trees that drop lots of needles and I wanted to be able to remove and clean step if needed.
The picture is the treads installed on the steps to my mothers coach, and I have also installed these at our lake cabin. Wet or dry these hold up great!

GREAT TREADSI LOVE THESE TREADS! THEY LOOK SO GREAT AND I JUST PUT THEM ON THE STEPS, IT WAS THAT EASY. THEY DO NOT MOVE AT ALL. I USED THESE FOR THE FRONT STEPS COMING UP TO THE FRONT PORCH. I PUT IN WOOD STEPS AND PAINTED THEM AND NEEDED SOMETHING TO KEEP PEOPLE FROM SLIPPING WHEN THEY GET WET. THESE ARE PERFECT. THEY LOOK RICH AND I LOVE THEM!!! I AM INCLUDING 3 PHOTOS. ONE IS A CLOSE UP AND YOU CAN SEE HOW GREAT THEY LOOK. AT THE BOTTOM, I HAVE THE LARGER MATCHING MAT.

Smart investmentI needed a stair tread with a good grip to put on my ramp for my senior dogs. I put them about 6' apart on the ramp and the dogs walk on them so they don't slide on the rug underneath.They provide traction for them when they go up the ramp. Great investment. Definitely worth the price and ease of installation. Perfect for pets or people .

No more slick stairs!These treads are awesome. Designed for outdoor use, we put them inside on our steps leading to our partially finished basement whose steps were old open wood steps, hand made and none of them were the same depth, or distance. We cut risers for each stair with simple plywood, painted the steps and risers and then attached these treads. They look great, the steps are safe and slip proof and durable! No worries about the paint wearing off or chipping or being slick. The treads are thick and heavy. We put three screws in each tread to secure them as we have dogs running up and down all day. For the price here, these are a great bargain! There is a bit of a rubber tire smell for a week or so, but that's what they're made of and that odor disappears after a short while. They are not comfortable on bare feet, but the trade off is worth it. Put on socks, people!!

Attractive and functionalI ordered these for my front steps. They are painted wood and slippery if wet. These treads are attractive and easy ti install. Other options appeared cheap. I found that they moved so, as another reviewer did, I screwed them down. I have had them for about nine months through a tough winter. They are still attractive and functional. I am ordering more for my deck. Ignore the date on the photo. It was taken June 22, 2014.
