My Problem: A no wax floor that for years had been "cleaned" with floor cleaners that are supposedly for no wax floors but actually have wax in them and therefore leave a nasty build-up of sticky, brown goo, especially along the edges.
Solution: This product! I first tried Armstrong floor stripper and it did next to nothing to get rid of the gunk. I brought it back for a refund within a couple of hours of trying it and looked for another floor stripping product. I tried this Zep product and immediately could tell it was doing the job. The brown waxy build-up was being melted and dissolved. It was both disgusting and satisfying at the same time to have my mop water turn brown (over and over again as I had to change the water at least 6 times) as years of residue came off a floor that up until then had been "cleaned" weekly. BTW, I used a mask that filters out solvent fumes and would recommend it. When I took off the mask, there were a lot of fumes. The good thing is that if only a vinegar or ammonia solution is used to clean the floor from now on, I won't have to do this again.

Hiding on a bottom shelf in the cleaning aisle is where. This product should have its own end cap display with razzle dazzle lighting around it because it is so much more than awesome. I have had stained concrete floors for over 15 years and have been let down & disappointed by other products I purchased. SO much money wasted. BUT No more! This product exceeded my expectations by a google. I also purchased the Zep High Traffic Floor Polish (amazing) then on another trip to Home Depot I discovered the Zep WET LOOK Floor Polish (and wet my floors look! yes indeedy do) WOW, So easy, effective, quick... My floors look brand new and I am in HEAVEN for real I could not have asked for more. I am having a party just so I can show off my floors! LOL! THANK YOU SO MUCH ZEP! side note: your labels are too simple for these outstanding products.

Removes wax build up from laminate!Don’t get me wrong, you have to scrape it off with a plastic scraper, and it is tedious and a pain, but it does work! Floor companies want hundreds an hour, so it is worth the time and effort. It didn’t stain my clothing or damage my floors. They aren’t kidding when they say wear gloves though; it tore up my hands. Overall, worth the price and work to make my floors look brand new.

While a product of years ago might have been more effective, the safer non-VOC (volatile organic compound) formula of the ZEP Heavy-Duty Floor Stripper is much more tolerable to use in the enclosed areas. Rather pleasant, actually.
