Possibly the single biggest waste of my time ever! Had a stain on my granite top around the faucet areas, due to an oil based plumbers putty being used as a waterproof seal (wrong thing to do). Followed directions to the Tee, mixing powder with mineral spirits, applying it, covering it with plastic and duct taping it down, then letting it do it's thing for several days. NO results! Repeated the entire procedure AGAIN for another several days. Barely any difference in the stain! Had this one bathroom out of service (as faucet was removed) for about a week. Very, very disappointing.

Using it with water did nothing to remove any of the stains. In fact, as one would expect, made the stains look worse. However, when used with acetone, i became happy with the results and my countertops look brighter and crisper where I applied the product. You have to be patient for results.

This product left my granite counters with very dark marks that could not be removed. I may have to have a professional come out to fix the damage. I would not recommend using this product!

I believe the key to this product is mixing it with the correct solvent for what you are trying to accomplish. We've got granite countertops that have turned dark and dingy over time. I called Miracle Sealants tech support and for general food oils and fats, they recommended using acetone. An area that had less staining came out looking really good. Adjacent areas only lightened up some, but not nearly as much as the less effected areas.
They make a two-part solution that is much easier to deal with, but I didn't find that it worked as well. Perhaps it is a function of the stains...
Two things to note: 1) this stuff only covers a couple of square feet. You will need a lot of it. 2) if you use the acetone, make sure to wear a mask and don't get any of the wet compound on finished surfaces (if you do, you have about 15 seconds to clean it off before the acetone dissolves the finish).

Good Product if you understand how to use it.
The product does what it says if you understand how to use it. It is only a powder that you mix with whatever type of solvent will dissolve your stain (i.e. mineral spirits for oil based stain). Then as the solvent dries it will pull the stain into the powder removing it from your stone. Use the guide on the company website to determine what solvent you should use. Mix only that solvent. I suspected I had an oil based stain. So I used low odor mineral spirits according to the instructions on the guide and mixed it with the powder and applied the paste to my granite tile. Then I covered it with plastic wrap and taped it off to slow the evaporation and let it sit until it completely dried.
The only way you can mess up it is to remove the powder too soon or use the wrong solvent. You'll need at least 2 to 3 days to let it dry.
The only reason this product doesn't get 5 stars is that there was no way it would cover the suggested area displayed on the tub (I think it was 3 to 5 square feet). My best was about 2 square feet. It does depend on the thickness of your application. But you don't want it too thin.
I've added picture showing the tile I used it on. I did not order enough, so I was unable to cover all the area needed, but you can see the difference between the 2 areas. Treated side on the left is lighter than untreated side on the right. Its not shadow. Just in case it hard to see I've added arrows. The line is not straight. I'm pleased with the results.
