I cut 30" of granite to enlarge a cooktop opening with one of these on a Hitachi grinder. No prob...I cut 30" of granite to enlarge a cooktop opening with one of these on a Hitachi grinder. No problems, took just a few minutes. I was warned that the edge it leaves would be rough, and it was, but no worse than the original hole. Blade has almost no visible wear, so i expect it'll last longer than any cuts i intend to do in the future.

I've used this blade a handful of times for small tile cuts and have had nothing but a good exper...I've used this blade a handful of times for small tile cuts and have had nothing but a good experience. It helps if you have a second set of hands available to work a vacuum right by the blade, otherwise you'll be dealing with a dusty mess. But as far as cutting, it gives a clean cut with smooth edges. And it took little to no pressure to get through ceramic tile. Just used it yesterday to cut a hole for an outlet box in the bathroom. First tried with a carbide dremel multi-tool blade, got nowhere. Remembered I had this blade in the garage and had the cuts done in less than 2 minutes.

Didn't fit my Black & Decker grinder machine. Didn't work...Didn't fit my Black & Decker grinder machine. Didn't work to cut the wall tiles. Caused surfice of tiles to chip and tool was bouncing on tile. Chipping was from the friction/ heat produced.
