Worked for me
I used this product to remove etching on marble vanity tops caused by using incorrect cleaning products. After doing a bit of research and watching videos on YouTube I decided I had a good chance with this product. There are certainly limitations to what this product can fix, e.g stains or etching that are too deep. It worked great for me. One thing I recommend is using a powered buffing device. I didn't have a buffer but ended up using a round buffer pad with a cordless drill-worked almost as well, maybe just a tad harder to balance it. If you do use a power buffer, make sure to cover the surrounding areas as it will send bits of powder and paste flying, and for the same reason use moderate speed, faster is not better. Using my drill, I found that having it set to "screwdriver " speed was better than "drill" speed as faster speed would send more polishing material flying and also dry up the work surface too fast. There were a couple of tough spots that I had to apply the process to twice after drying the surface and seeing leftover etch marks.

Don't buy! I've got easy fix for etch mark on marble!
I purchased this item online 10 days ago after reading all the good reviews about Miracle Sealant Water Ring and Etch Mark Remover in the hope it could remove vinegar marks on my marble bathroom vanity. I followed the instructions to the T, even doing circular motions for 100 times, nothing happened. So I returned it to local HD store. Asked the employees, no one could help. So I thought I just have to live with it. Yesterday I stumbled upon a private website who said to use the green part of scotch-brite sponge and nothing else, IT WORKED! in 5 minutes all the vinegar marks were gone! The SECRET is you must do it DRY, don't wet it or water it. Of course the shine is gone as well, no problem, this can be easily fixed with Gel Gloss or anything else for polishing marble. I really want to share my experience with all of you because someone has helped me and I am very happy with the result.

It will work with effort
Tried the product on some etching on a Carrera marble counter top that was pretty badly etched from vinegar. Following the process on the directions did very little to the etching. Then I tried what a few others recommended on here with 220 grit wet sandpaper. Using a lot of water with the product, this worked to remove the etching. However, I was left with a scratchy, dull looking surface. I then went back over it with more product and a terry cloth towel and rubbed the heck out of it. After a lot of elbow grease it began to shine up. I kept doing this until the surface was once again shiny. It now looks great and the etching is virtually gone. I would recommend only going the sandpaper route if absolutely necessary on bad etching as I believe persistent rubbing with a towel will work on light etching. Just be prepared to work up a sweat and don't get discouraged if you do not see results right away. Keep at it!

I really can’t comment on the product because I returned it after reading the label. It had a number of scary warnings about its use. I was not comfortable about using such a toxic product.

Great product
Second purchase of product. This is an excellent product that works wonders on polished marble tiles. I just installed marble and in the process of grouting the tiles I left hazy scratch marks on the beautiful tiles. In addition, i left some water spots as well from not completely drying the sponge streaks after removing the excess grout. No worries, this stuff buffed out the marble to a shine as nice as it looked in the showroom. Recommend using a decent automobile buffer (non orbital) as I could not have achieved the same results by hand. Use enough water and take your time. I did three 12" squares at a time, then moved on to the next three after I was satisfied with the shine. My only complaint is that it only comes in the little jars for larger floor areas. I have seen poor reviews of the product, but for me it worked amazingly. Just be patient and expect to use a little elbow grease. It requires more than just applying and removing but well worth it.
