Basalt is a substantial and stylish natural stone. An igneous rock formed by cooling lava, Basalt has minimal color variation, making it the perfect canvas for unique finishes. The large format size means minimal grout lines and the smooth surface brings a sleek appearance to interior and exterior walls and floors. Also suitable for water features and fountains.

- Grade 1, first-quality natural stone tile for floor and wall use
- 15 in. width x 30 in. length x 1/2 in. thick
- Unglazed finish with low sheen and slight variation in tone
- P.E.I. Rating V is suitable for both residential and high-traffic commercial use including extra heavy duty floors, areas subject to severe pedestrian traffic over sustained periods with some dirt
- Vitreous flooring has water absorption of more than 0.5% but less than 3% for indoor use and some outdoor applications and is frost resistant
